Have you lost interest in some aspects of Minecraft?

I lost interest in surviving on Minecraft. It's because in three years I learned to survive in each and every way possible, thus not having problems on my first nights. For me it lost that spark that it had when I started.
It's still a very fun game but I enjoy servers more nowadays.

 

I keep up the interest by trying to play multiplayer when I can with friends, to play alone is an aspect I can get tired actually.

І'vе соnsіdеrеd mоds, but fоr sоmе rеаsоn іt fееls wrоng tо mе tо usе mоds whеn thе gаmе іsn't fіnіshеd уеt. І dоn't rеаllу knоw hоw tо ехрlаіn іt. І'm аlsо kіnd оf wоrrіеd thаt аll оf thе mоds thаt аdd sо muсh tо thе gаmе wіll dіsсоurаgе Νоtсh frоm оffісіаllу іmрlеmеntіng thе іdеаs, sіnсе hе'd јust bе dоіng sоmеthіng thаt's аlrеаdу bееn dоnе but hіs wау.

Agreed. This issue happens with a lot of popular games that have been out for awhile where players just learn all the intricacies and there's really nothing left to discover in the game. I pretty much exclusively play multiplayer servers now and even then, it's only with some RL friends as well. While I don't think Minecraft is in danger of failing, I do think the game needs some new content to make it fresh.

 

Mining is really boring for me now because I know all the trick to find diamonds. I can find diamond on the first night so it's just turned to repetitive aspect of the game. They should make diamonds really random and add many more ores to the game.

 

I've never really cared much for the nether or potions in the game. The benefits of them isn't so great, especially considering potions don't stack.

 

One boring aspect was when I was building the same houses over and over again when making the housing estate part of my city. I had to do it though as it made it realistic.

 

Like everything in life, with time it becomes repeptitive. You are absolutely right, there is some marvel that I cant find anymore and that I think is lost in Minecraft.

 

Pretty much anything that is not online. I'm starting to not be interested in anything that doesn't involve playing online. I like the server games better than doing anything local unless I'm having a LAN party. I still get down on the normal modes for that. It'd surprise me if anyone really plays the normal stuff unless it's when they first start playing.

I didn't play minecraft that much over the years, It was just an on and off thing so I guess for me it didn't loose its aesthetic because I never got the hang of everything in the first place. But every time I did play I enjoyed surviving and building things, taking my time, collecting resources, building my own little world and then sharing with friends or playing on our own server in co-op.

 

Yes, I have lost interest in minecraft. Well, not just Minecraft but in all games. And I think it's pretty normal to have lost interest on some things.

 

Kind of, sort of. I get really bored of things fairly quickly now if I'm not playing with some kind of mods to spice things up, but to sit there and build things in vanilla? Nah, I can't do that.

 

I lose interest in Minecraft all the time, and then I'll put it down for a few days until I try again. It comes and goes, my interest that is.

 

Honestly, I somewhat started to. Ever since the multi player servers that I played on died, I kind of stopped liking Minecraft. The single player survival was okay, but I get pretty bored after a while.

 

The only reason I mess with minecraft at all anymore, is for building. The rest of it had me burned out for a while now.

 

I only play with some of our friends, but we have enhanced the game using mods. Mods are what kinda keep the game fresh for me, which is definitely working. Minecraft can easily be burnt out, but you could try a few mods and see if you are still interested!
