Fallout Shelter becomes available tomorrow for Android users, but it has been out for a while on iOS - have any of you played it yet? My husband has been playing it on his iPad but I haven't been able to touch it yet - he's pretty addicted! It looks really fun, though - I love those kinds of "tower building"/simulation games and this one looks like it has a lot of neat features to set it apart like: exploring above-ground for supplies/gear, not having to wait for things to be built, training up each dweller's abilities and matchmaking, etc. I am pretty excited to download it tomorrow!
Yeah I'm loving the heck out of it so far and it's pretty addictive. I can't wait to see where the devs are going with this. I have to say, however, the Death Claws are wayyy to strong right now and they essentially tear through my dwellers no matter what armor or weapon the hold. That aside it's the best android game I've played so far.
I don't really care too much for Tower defense games, but I did like the gameplay video. I'm still in the process of deciding which apps I need to get rid of to make room for the game though...
I'm not a big mobile gamer, but Fallout Shelter looks pretty simple and I like the concept. I'm considering getting it try it out, but money and time are tight and I don't want to go in too deep. It looks like a good pastime and I think supporting Bethesda is pretty cool, though. I also heard it doesn't have too much depth and gets a little stale - maybe if it had more content, I'd dig in.
Started it up, played for like 5 minutes and sent someone out to the wasteland, and then closed it and haven't looked at it since, the big reveal and wait for Android was for nothing.
I downloaded it as soon as it launched on Android, and so far it's a really cool "waiting" game. It's a blast to be able to just fire it up every once in a while and manage the vault. I've had a good run so far, but I've recently made some bad decisions regarding the vault rooms, so if I can't turn this around, I'm screwed.
I'm glad they finally brought it out for Android users, now I can play it. I haven't tried it yet but this thread reminded me to, so I'm downloading it on my phone as we speak! I'll be sad if it's really pay to win though. Another game to waste my already limited battery power But now that I look closely, I'm a little worried about all the access they want to my device... Not sure if I like that.
Played the iphone version for a couple days. Got bored of it pretty quickly. It's just another one of those tap and wait games. Not my cup of tea.
Well I've actually been playing it a little bit today and it's pretty fun, but all games for mobile always have the sneaky pay to win aspect an it really saddens me. I did randomly get Bittercup as a vault dweller though, yay
I've really enjoyed the challenges of maintaining a vault, but also dread taking care of all of the citizens. It can be really tough having to start over when one method doesn't plan out like it should. But overall, it's an entertaining game.
I was super excited about Fallout Shelter. I have an Android and waited patiently while IOS got a head start. I downloaded the Android app the day it came out. I was super excited in the beginning but after a short while it was so repetitive. It kind of bummed me out. I deleted the app after 3 or 4 days. It made me sad because I REALLY wanted to like it but I couldn't. I am playing Fallout 2 presently while I wait for Fallout 4. I hope I am not disappointed with Fallout 4 although I am pretty sure it's going to be great.
I haven't been able to play it yet, because my phone is such an old model. It looks like a fun little game though!
It looks really fun but it's not available for Windows Phone so I miss out. I really want to try it out, though...
I also own a Windows Phone and it is really cheap from Bethesda, that they don`t have a version for such users as well. I always watch a friend of mine play it on his android tablet, and it looks like great fun, kind of like Tamagochi combined with a management game.
Nah, I'm into this kinds of games. So, I probably won't be playing Fallout Shelter. Looks neat though, and the cash shop isn't overbearing.
I played it briefly but I got bored of it pretty quickly. I expected a little bit more from the game and developers, but I guess the release is just a prototype.
I played it for a bit and had fun with it. It's a great little time waster when you have nothing else to do.
I have played it, but was discouraged by all the crashing it did. I have heard it's better now, but I haven't gotten around to downloading it again. What I could play was fun though and I would like to be able to get into it again. The graphics were definitely pretty cool.
