Have you tried the PS4 version?

I normally don't like games made for PC on consoles but I got curious and tried the demo. Surprisingly, the game isn't half bad. I especially like how much smoother the version is compared to the X360 version. Or course, the PC version is still the best.

Yeah I've played the demo and it was pretty good. I mean it's not like you can screw up a game as simple as Minecraft anyways. I think the PS4 version is better than the 360 performance- wise.

I don't have a console at home, so I haven't had the chance to play it yet. I would like to try it out someday! It must be a whole new experience, playing the game on a console, rather than on the PC.

Honestly, I think the Play station 4 version is the same as pc version, the only difference is that it is on a different gaming platform. I guess it's nice for people who don't have a decent PC to be able to play on their PS4.

I haven't tried it as I don't have a PS4, but even if I did I don't think I would play Minecraft on it, I love modding my game too much to be restricted on a console.

No, I have never tried the console version of Minecraft. I have only played it on PC. Playing Minecraft without mods doesn't make much sense.

I haven't played it, but I've heard that it still has limited world size. You can run minecraft on PCs worse than PS4s and still get infinite world size, so I don't get what the problem is.

Is there really that much difference in performance? I just cannot fathom how a game like Minecraft can be improved enough to be worth buying on a next gen. Are the graphics any different/improved from the one on the PC or PS3? My computer sucks specs wise, but it can run Minecraft like a pro. If a PS4 is much much more powerful than my computer, that just seems like over kill. Just my opinion, but I have never tried it, so I wouldn't know.

Does it not freeze for a half a second when the menu comes up?

Nope, didn't notice any lag when bringing up the inventory. One other downside is the controls on the console, very unintuitive. The lack of shortcut keys really gets to you.

I've played it and I don't see any difference between the PC and the PS4 version except that the other one you're using a controller.

Yeah, my friend has it at his house. Not much different except the controls. Your really just paying for the platform that you play on.

No, I haven't try it because I don't have a console. But it seems that it doesn't have difference to the PC version.

You know I have not tried the PS4 version at all. I think that I may try it one day though. I was told that the PC version is better, but I do like console games. I may give it a try if I am still up for playing the game.

I don't have a PS4 but even if I did, I don't think I'd be playing Minecraft on it.. To me, Minecraft on the PC is always going to be the best and most comfortable way to play, so I just don't mess with consoles or mobile.

And why would the 360 version be as smooth as the Playstation 4 version? You're comparing a current gen console to a last gen console. The Xbox One version is far more comparable to the PS4 version, and they play just as smoothly on their respective consoles.

No! I never tried any of the console versions. I can imagine what it'd be like. It be really hard to control, first of all. One of the best thing on PC is that the controls are completely unparalleled to any other console controls--seriously.
