This is my first visit to the Metro Forum and I have to say it's awesome! I've played Metro 2033 three times now and enjoyed every second. I am really interested in the story and I hope to read the book soon.

Also I wanted to know your opinions on the book and if you think the book experience was better to the game experience, so leave some comments!

    Thanks
    Obelisk:)

Welcome to our humble forum :D
Personally, I think the book experience is slightly better, simply because there it's more detailed. For example, the only thing about Zjenja (Eugene in english?) that you are shown in the game is that he and Artyom are friends. But in the book, you also find out that Artyom envies him because he has a full family and that they work together at the tea "factory". There are many more of these details throughout the book, and I just get a better immersion from the book.

    Welcome to the Metro, mate!

Be sure to have some gear with you and fasten your seatbelt, because the ride will be rough... :D
