    I'm a huge fan of the Might and Magic franchise, especially the grid based strategy games. I just signed up for the Closed Beta on their site and I'm looking forward to playing it. Has anyone tried it before, and if so, how is it?

    I ma yet to try it. Not a huge fan of this game to be honest and not looking forward to it at this moment. But I will give this a go just to see how it plays.

    Can you provide a link? I'm not banned in Yahoo or Google but all I get searching are some forums and fan pages related to single player games.

    Now speaking about HoMM brand, this game stole thousands of hours from my life, but I never regret:) Although after HoMM III and expansions it was going downhill IMO.

    I am a huge fan too. HoMM III was THE game of my childhood. It was magical, I still love it. Too bad the franchise has gone downhill since then but I'm still going to try anything similar, even if it's just a fraction of what HoMM III was it's already a great game.

    I've vaguely heard of this online version. I wonder if that means they are going to stop with PC games if this online version works out? Seems like a fun idea. I always liked the heroes games, even though I was never very good at them. I loved the horse clops and the sound of collecting items lol.

    This is true after HoMMIII and Shadow of Death xpac the franchise has pretty much died. Does Ubisoft still hold the rights? I doubt they plan for a MMORPG based on M&M however, unless it is an RTS style MMO.
