What's your take? Personally, I prefer League of Legends overall, due to it being more immersive. That's not to say that I don't enjoy Heroes of the Storm, but I feel like the games are less stressful and shorter, and I don't take them as seriously as I do a League game. I guess I tend to play Heroes when I'm a little distracted or don't want to think too much about what I'm doing. What's your opinion?

Well I'm not a hardcore player or anything but I love moba's and have played all of them, even going back to the original WC3 mod that the entire genre is based on. Heroes of the Storm is my favorite game these days though. The main reason is that the games last much shorter than League of Legends games, so I can jump in for a quick game anytime I have 30 minutes of spare time. There's a lot more action from the start as well, the laning phase is not that interesting in League and the last hit mechanic is just tiring.

Heroes of the storm fits my play style a lot better since I only like to play casually and League of legends sometimes gets a bit too stressful for me especially when I play ranked it feels like a job almost, but I do prefer the champions in league for some reason so whenever I want to just play mindlessly I just play aram there.

I mean definitely the shorter games makes me prefer Hots, but as all my friends play League, so I always end up switching back over there.

But in terms of skill involved and aso to how competitive a game can get, I don't think I can just give it to league hands down. Sure league is competitive, but Hots focuses on something that all Mobas hinge and rely on, and that's team fights. If you're good at team fighting, you'll win games in Hots, its not about last hitting and individually winning a lane, instead it's All about team fights, which are much harder to consistently do good in.
