He stood tall before the people. Clad in Dark red armor with black outlines, he looked like a seasoned commander, yet that wasn't exactly what he was. On his chest, the crest of the Wolfheart House was, showing that he was no commander, albeit his posture. His jet black hair was waving in the wind, beard stubs across his chin and cheek revealing a bit about his age. At his early fourties, Lord Brand Wolfheart stood before the newcomers, the people willing to pledge themselves to his house, in order to serve the realm and him. “You have all chosen to make an oath to House Wolfheart. In House Wolfheart we accept men and women of any race, as Queen Jennah believes all races to be equal. We protect the realm by any means necessary. We will not see the last kingdom of humanity fall, and with our lives we will defend it. We do what we must for the best of the realm. You will fight, train, research, and speak in my name. Anyone in my house represents my house, and you do well remember that. With Balthazar as your witness, repeat after me and pledge yourselves to House Wolfheart.” He said as he looked around at the newcomers. They looked like a solid bunch, hopefully they were he thought. “In this, the darkest hour of our time, I pledge myself, body and spirit to serve Lord Wolfheart and his house. With Balthazar as my witness, I will bring nothing but honor and glory to my house, and defend it against all threats. I lay behind me my former name, and take the name Wolfheart as my own, as it is the lord’s own. I become one with the House as the house becomes one with me. Balthazar watch over us all.” He spoke, and as he did, the group before him had echoed every word. “Those of you whom wish to join our military wing, head to the right. More instructions will be given at the gate. Those whom wish to join the steward’ quarter, head to the left. And to those, whom wish to join the political wing, stay here. The scholars, head right up the way behind you to the Arch Mage who will see to you.” He said as he turned around, his cape waving with the wind as a man went to his place, to take care of the rest.

    Greetings,

House Wolfheart has begun its recruitment in preparation for Guild Wars 2. I and a small group of friends have decided to create a guild that revolves around nobility and everything that comes with it. Politics, war, alliances, fighting, back stabbing, loyalty. We believe in quality over quantity, but aim to have the guild to consist of 30-80 active members. We’re new and looking for people to help us create a House that will earn respect as a quality roleplaying guild, while having fun through roleplay. We strive to have positions in the guild for every ones favorite roleplaying style. You like to roleplay a steward? We got it. You like to roleplay a big muscular character? We got it. You like to roleplay a gatherer that gathers materials and artifacts from all over Tyria? That’s cool, we got that aswell. You like to be a scheming noble? We got it. Want to help create a good roleplaying guild and be a part of a family? Hells, then you’re at the right place.

    We’re an EU-based guild.

    Guild summary

House Wolfheart is a Roleplaying guild made by and for roleplayers whom seek quality roleplay that is house-related with everything a noble house includes. We commit ourselves to create fantastic roleplay and helping each other to enjoy the experiences that Guild Wars 2 will offer. Our primary goal is to become a well-established and respected guild that is respected for its quality roleplay.

    You should:
    • Want to roleplay on a regular basis
    • Want to have fun and work with your guild mates to create quality roleplay, as they will with you.
    • Be polite to your guild mates and other players in general
    • Be looking for a long term home for your character(s).
    • Have a standard understanding of grammar and punctuation. We are not elitists, but we don’t want people who can’t start a sentence with a big letter either.
    • Know the way of noble houses and address people by their proper titles and rank in game, unless theres a reason for otherwise.
    • Want to have fun!
    We can offer:
    • A friendly, relaxed and mature atmosphere
    • Regular roleplay days and nights when people are over the ‘leveling period’ of GW2 that is likely to be there the first three weeks of launch
    • Weekly events
    • A committed player base with experience and knowledge
    • Well organized guild
    • A dedicated team of officers and councilors who listen to your opinons, and actively work to make the guild a success
    • A long term home that will make you feel home and help you through the game and the vast world of Tyria.

The house itself will be led by Lord and Lady Wolfheart. A human house that always fought for humanity, making sure to be present at every large battle in order to keep their reputation as a strong and capable house.. Through unknown means they stabilized themselves in Kryta as a powerful noble house that is not to be taken lightly. The actual family members whom are related by blood to Lord Wolfheart usually carry high titles within the house. They always serve House Wolfheart in some way, in one of the wings.

    The Lord

Lord Wolfheart’s is known to be a strong leader without fear to bring his words into action. He controls his house with an iron fist, however maintaining the popularity of his house and people as he defends them, making sure no one touches them without paying for it. His actions may by some be called ruthless, but to him it’s a means to an end. Known as a man whom seldom smiles, his face is passive at most, leaving people to wonder whether they’re pleasing him with their actions or annoying him. Straight forward, most nobles seems to dislike him somewhat for his rude honesty, yet they never bring the problem about his honesty to his face. His official goal is to create a house that will become the most powerful house within Kryta and the human noble families, but is that truly his goal?

The House consists of a military wing, a political wing, the steward wing, the scholar wing and the council, and the Wardens.

The Military wing consists of 2 Overseers, each whom takes care of dealing out tasks, dealing with the sergeants and overseeing the training and dealing with internal struggles and other things within the house. They report directly to Lord Wolfheart’s right hand or the lord himself.

The sergeants (4-8) are group/team leaders that leads their own group/team out on missions across Kryta and Tyria. They report to the Overseers.

Retainers are the standard group/team unit. They serve their lord’s wishes and command during warfare and missions, with the sergeant leading them.

The Political wing is made of 1-3 diplomats, who work on alliances with other houses/guilds/organizations and make sure House Wolfheart maintains a good reputation.

The Spiders are a group of 1-4 people who work on blackmailing, spreading rumors and other dirty work. They work together as a group to ensure success.

Noble people are also a part of the Political wing. They live in the glory of House Wolfheart, creating intrigues while living the sweet life of a noble man. They also hold Masquerades and other social events from time to time to connect people.

The Steward wing contains one head-steward that oversees things having to do with wealth and guests while reporting to Lord Wolfheart about possible needs that the house requires. If someone gets fired and they need a replacement, the head steward reports that to Lord Wolfheart and recommends whoever he thinks benefits whatever position that has opened up. The Head Steward is also on the council.

It also contains other stewards, that sees to the Lady Wolfheart, the right hand of Lord Wolfheart, and the other family member’s needs.

Crafters/explorers/adventurers are also a part of the Steward wing. Crafters include, but not limited to blacksmiths, cooks and people who gather material for the different needs around the house, but also relics, artifacts and other things a explorer/adventure might stumble upon.

There’s also one personal steward/Squire that sees to Lord Wolfheart’s needs, handpicked through applications by him.

The Scholar wing is watched over by the Arch Mage. The Arch Mage stands for the training that the scholars and adepts receive. The Arch Mage is also on the council.

Scholars are the first-class magic users whom have progressed beyond their training and shown their skill and worth. They’re valued and used for advices, warfare, and missions that the Military Wing isn’t doing. They also train the adepts.

Adepts are the new magic users whom have joined House Wolfheart. They have either paid to receive the training that House Wolfheart gives, or have been granted permission to join the training if they would swear the oath to House Wolfheart and join the house. Upon advancing to Scholar rank, they may choose to become a part of the Military wing instead of advancing to Scholar.

The Council is a group of-5 people whom advices Lord Wolfheart on various subjects with weekly meetings. They have a high position within the House and are all wealthy and powerful, although they have no power to command others within the house; they are still treated with respect by most. The right hand presents the Lord if he is not present.

The Wardens are the personal bodyguards for Lord Wolfheart. 3 glorified bodyguards whom have devoted their life to the protection of Lord Wolfheart, serving his commands They are under direct order of him and no one else. They are handpicked and accepted into House Wolfheart by the right hand. They undergo a secret ritual as they do.

More positions may open depending on the popularity of House Wolfheart.

    How to apply

    Rules

Members of House Wolfheart are always expected to abide by the rules set forth in this post. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action taken by the officers that can include warning, demotion, suspension, or banishment from the guild. All disciplinary actions can be appealed by the infracting member; however after the appeal all actions are final.

This is a relaxed, quality roleplaying guild. Maintaining "relaxed" is a core goal of the guild leadership, but maintaining "quality roleplay" is equally important. With that in mind, the following principles should be upheld by all guild members:

Be courteous to all players, regardless if they are fellow guild members, allies, or enemies. Insulting other players (guild member or otherwise) reflects badly upon the guild and will not be tolerated in any form. Respect is earned; courtesy must be given in order to maintain a friendly guild.

All guild members are expected to act maturely. You can be mature and still have fun.

Be cautious with your language. Occasional swearing is likely to occur in guild, group chat, but restrain yourself from cursing every sentence. Keep in mind the ages and temperaments of other guild and group members before using any language which might offend.

Guild members are to always positively represent the guild. Professional behavior reflects well on the guild, terrible behavior reflects badly, and a bad reputation spreads faster than a good one.

No Cheating, Hacking, or Exploiting. If anyone is found to be in breach of any game policies you will be reported to the game masters and removed from the Guild. No second chance.

Begging will not be tolerated. Just because other players are a higher level than you, does not mean they can always afford to help you. If you need something, kindly ask in guild chat, if someone can help you, they will, if not, do not keep asking.

Applying to another guild while a member of House Wolfheart will be considered to be equivalent to a resignation from House Wolfheart.*

    * = Applying and multi-guilding in raiding or pvp guilds is accepted however, other roleplaying guilds is not.

    • Participation •

In order that all guild members can make the most of the guild, we need an effective method of communication. Guild members need to all work together for the common good.

It is a requirement that all guild members be members of the guild forum. The forum should be visited on a regular basis in order to keep in touch with happenings within the guild, and to sign up for planned raids and events.

Guild members who have difficulty signing up on the forum should contact an officer to discuss the situation.

    • Inactivity •

Any guild member who is inactive for three weeks or more may be removed from the guild. This includes alts. Any guild member who is taking an extended break with the intent to return can notify an officer and a note will be made on the expected return date and if said member does not return within three weeks of that date they will be removed from the guild. Any guild member who is removed due to inactivity may be reinstated upon returning at.

    • Discipline •

Infractions of the rules will be addressed as soon as possible by an officer. If an officer is present please bring the event to their attention and provide them with all the information you have (including screenshots if necessary).

If an officer is not present please address a guild member privately if you believe them to be in violation of any rules. Do not make a public spectacle. A simple statement or request to a fellow guild member should be sufficient to resolve any differences.

If this does not prove sufficient please record all events to present to an officer as soon as one becomes available (i.e. screenshots).

If a public spectacle is involved, the member will be asked to limit his discussion to whispers with the officer / other party. Everyone gets upset. It is expected that members to be capable of reigning themselves in when asked to do so.

We hope to hear from you,

    House Wolfheart.
