How addicted to Minecraft are you?

I'd say I;m clocking in at around 8 hrs a week, due to work and school.

 

I've played many games in the past and usually I'll go through a phase where I play the game a lot for awhile and then slowly start to taper off only playing it every so often. That being said I was playing Minecraft ten plus hours a day for awhile after I first got it and still play it quite a bit (I've only had it for a few months.) However with all of these new updates being added I don't think I can ever fully quit it, just slowly starting to play less and less over time, to the point where I will only play once there's a new update added.

 

I play probably three times a week for about two hours. I think, sometimes, it is hard to quit playing once you start. You find so much you want to do and build. That is why games like Minecraft are so amazing, the possibilities are endless.

 

Well I am mostly playing other games, but I find Minecraft to be a very low stress relaxing game. So when I just want to sit back and build, I probably play the game about two hours everyday. These days most games are just too stressful, and you have to worry about leveling up fast or something else that might bug you.

 

It's on and off for me. When I really am into it, I can spend a good 6-10 hours on it in one day. However, like now, I don't play it at all. My MC cycle usually lasts about 3 weeks on with two weeks of it really into it, then about 1-3 months off.

I do get back into it even in the off-months to relief stress or to 'meditate' on my thoughts and feelings. MC is a good mindless game to help think and calm down.

 

Not so much as i used to once upon a time, but I'm still pretty addicted to the game.

 

During the initial stages of MC (1.2.5 if I'm being specific), I used to literally spend 7+ hours just mining and gathering resources to get on the level of other players on the server I played on.

However, I've calmed down a bit now and I usually play around 5 hours per week

 

Well, I played it whole nights because it's so addicted when you have an objective but, right now, I only play hungry games and others so I'm not addicted anymore.

 

I get back late from work but manage to play for a couple of hours every day. On weekends, playing time goes up and I end up playing 6-7 hours at a stretch. Don't realize how fast time goes by while playing the game!

 

When I was young and Minecraft just went beta, I found myself chopping wood at 4pm in the afternoon, then finishing the last block of my fortress with mine at 3am.

 

Thankfully, I've never found myself addicted to Minecraft. Although much like Rgrimes I did find that I would play it for entirely too long back when it had just been released to the internet, back in very early Alpha and the entire game was new.

 

Minecraft is a pretty addicting game. I find myself to be playing the game for about 12 hours straight without even noticing, which is really crazy. It's really fun and hard to get off of, but you gotta take breaks. Playing too much is quite unhealthy. But overall, I do think Minecraft is really addicting, especially when you put your mind to one specific project and stick to it.

 

I am very addicted to Minecraft. I tend to play about four hours a day. To me, Minecraft is a really fun game and I love building new creations!

 

I used to play this game quite alot, like 3-4 hrs a day, but then suddenly real life gets in the way, so now, play time goes down to an hour a day, max. Sad, really.

 

I play craptons whenever I get a super creative urge to build something due to the fact that legos are so damned expensive.

 

I used to play Minecraft 5-6 hours everyday. But now, I got bored to it, I'm playing 1-2 hours every other day. But still, I love Minecraft like I loved it since I first played it.

 

I used to play Minecraft a lot more then I do now, maybe 5 - 7 hours a day, now I play very rarely, maybe an hour or two a week, if that.. I've done basically everything I can in the game and it's just lost it's appeal to me.

 

I would say I am quite addicted since I have played it on a daily basis for almost a year. However, lately I haven't had time to play so much due to working long hours.

 

Not as much as I used to be, though that was not very much anyways. The most I would play for would have been a few hours before bed to build something, but I could not see myself spending all day on that. It was fun, but could get boring if not played in moderation.
