How are new tanks seen?

For example if the Lancer in your group tells the party that they have never done this dungeon before?

I ask because I've been away from the game for a long while and wanted to make a Lancer to play around on. Been playing the tank class at a high level since the Everquest days but really haven't done much for dungeons in Tera.

There will always be the one bad apple, but in general are people receptive in this game to say "This BAM will do this so don't stand there" or "Take a right up ahead" instead of a left. Or at this point do people expect the Lancers to know the dungeons and just gogogo

Really depends on the group, if it's IM. Some will be accommodating, some less so. Personally I didn't run into enough tanks who'd say it's their first time, to notice any real trends.

(though likely there's more willingness to give the new tank a try when one happens, compared to a dps, if just because the wait for a new tank can take a while).
