    Frodo/Sam or whoever was going on the quest from the start ride on those birds that pick them up from the volcanoes at the end? The birds could have flown them right over the walls of Mordor and flew past the volcano allowing Frodo to drop it in? It may sound stupid, but it would have been a lot easier!

    Would have meant a very small book though! Worse, a very uninvolving MMO;
    Hobbits earn TPs,
    buy eagles,
    fly to volcano,
    destroy ring,
    the end.
