How is world pvp these days while leveling up?

    I am an old post-vanilla TBC player, literally started like a week after tbc and quit during the pre-WoTLK patch, so you may as well literally call me a TBC player, lol.


    I ended up quitting my mage and leveling a shadowpriest, and I had some of the best times you can imagine during world PVP - I still have a non-functioning pc behind me with all the screens of my stuff in the HD.

    I want to do a grind to max level and create a vid series just for fun, laughs and entertainment value for the WoW community, but I've heard world pvp is much worse off now. What do you think/feel? If I started in a couple of weeks from scratch (though I still have my old account with Season 4 shoulders!), would I be able to find noobs to 3v1, 4v1, 5v1 etc? I was pretty pro and could probably get myself into situations easily as long as the bodies are out there....

    All of the leveling zones are now combined, so as you enter a zone, you will see people from 10 different servers which means they are always full. So yeah, if you level on a pvp server you will be able to open world pvp all the way to 100.

    Two warnings though. The first is heirloom gear, which is ridiculously overpowered and at this point, almost anyone you encounter while leveling is probably a vet player in full heirloom gear who will one-shot you. Even if you have full heirloom gear, it often will just come down to who gets the first hit.

    The second issue will be hellfire pennisula when you hit lvl 58. Hellfire is NOTORIOUS for having bored, level capped players camping in it. so expect to have your lvl 58 character constantly camped by lvl 100 characters.

    They're way more full right now, which is awesome because I love pvp on wow, it makes the game way more thrilling and exciting. You should go see for yourself.
