How long did your most time consuming creation take to make?

Probably over ten hours for me over a period of a week. I was building a huge castle. I had a little assistance from a few of my friends, but it was mostly my work. What about you?

Wow, I never counted but it would definitely spill over into the 20-30 hour range. I spent a lot of time making a castle with my friends. It was pretty great but, wow, was it time consuming.

It took over a year. It was this huge maze, and I lost it after a computer format a few years back. :(

Around the same time, building an underwater house. IT WAS REALLY HARD, try at your own risk. But I created pretty cool water slides inside to get around the house fast.

Building an underwater house seems like it'd be quite difficult without creative mode lol. I definitely wouldn't even want to try doing that without being in creative mode.

I was in creative mode lol. I'll die if I did it on survival, it actually came out pretty cool. There were water slides inside and I had a glass wall wherein you could see the water, and it is pretty safe against enemies too.

The longest time I spent creating something was as I was creating a castle, as well. It was the first structure I'd ever built in Minecraft, and I was in creative mode as well. I had a lava and water moat surrounding it, with walls separating it from the basement floor. In other words, you were able to see the lava and water through the basement walls. I also had some snowman-pumpkin monsters stuck underneath a glass floor and surrounded by lava as well. I am evil. lol

I built a wizards tower once which took me a few months (playing on and off) to fully complete. I got the design of it on an online schematic building site, so the most difficult part was just getting the materials. The main structure of it wasn't difficult to build, as it was just rock, but I decided to build the roof out of blue colored wool. This proved to be very challenging to build as I had to mine tons of lapis lazuli AND tons of wool from sheep. I ended up losing the whole world I had built after I switched computers a few years back.

Yikes! Too bad bro. I hate it when all my hard work in Minecraft goes to waste, especially if I'm on survival. That is why I tend to do my extensive creations in creative mode wherein I have access to everything I need.

I don't know. The thing with minecraft is that the builds are never really finished. I have a survival single player world that I've spent a long time working on, but I can't really say that it's finished.

Mine took a few weeks, I was making a desert palace with a whole city. It took so long to build one wall. The palace was 300 x 500 and the walls were 10 blocks thick!

I think I spent 40 total hours working on a project once, but I've done that quite a few times if I recall correctly. I've probably spent far longer than that on certain projects!

I spent about 10 hours or so on one project. It was back in Beta where I made this stairway to the sky or something because I wanted to try building at the height limit. Not entirely sure how long it took me, but it wasn't too bad.

I discovered Minecraft about 2 years ago. At first I hated it, because it had the look of an Atari game. But the freedom to build almost anything really took hold of me. After some initial standard buildings I decided to experiment on making a starship. The ship would have been 400 feet long and about 9 stories tall had it been real. I have worked on it off and on for the last year and a half and it is still not complete! The funny thing about the model is that it is only a fraction of the size of the U.S.S. Enterprise and only a half of the size of the Titanic!
