How long do you spend on creative mode?

Minecraft offers so much hours of gameplay that it could suck you in real good. Creative mode has you creating and building things out of blocks. There are endless possibilities of things you can create. When I have the time to play, I normally spend 3 hours straight trying to build different stuff and making my city as beautiful as possible (as my skills allow).

    How bout you?

Depends on what I'm building, how lazy I am, how much time I have, etc. There are times where I may just spend half an hour building where there are other times where I may spend five hours building lol, but typically I won't build for shorter periods of time. If I'm gonna build in creative I'm gonna be there for quite a while otherwise I wouldn't have started building at all.

I try not to go on creative mode at all as I am a survivor. At least I like to think of myself as that. Anyway, if I go on creative mode I only spend like 10 minutes trying to create something amazing and then failing miserably. It's really fun on a server with friends though.

I have never caught onto the creative mode aspect of Minecraft. I much rather like the achievement and challenges that I must face to get the rare different blocks. This being said, creative mode is fun with friends for about half an hour when you want to kill some time and make something.

I never go on creative mode. When I do go on creative mode though, it's always for long-term projects. So, by the chance I do go on creative mode, probably for 3 hours. It is a long-term project after all.

I usually spend like 20-30 minutes on creative mode. After a while, I find creative mode boring. Survival mode is more thrilling, in my opinion, as you have to earn everything yourself.

I usually like going on creative to make a proof of concept fortress or a redstone design that I thought of, this is usually around an hour or two.

I am not that creative so I don't spend much time in this mode, I just use it to mess around and to try whatever idea that came to my mind that needs a lot of resources.

I am not really into building in creative. I just play in survival mode in all my Minecraft games. But since I am playing a modded Minecraft, I don't always know if things will work. This is where I use creative mode for. I have a seperate testing world in creative and test some things so I know if my idea will work in my survival game. When testing in creative, it doesn't take very long. I would use it for max 15 minutes.

I barely spend any time in creative mode. I'm not a creative person. I didn't even take art in school. I can never make creative houses. That's why I'm barely in creative unless I'm building something for a video I'm making.

Well, at first I was anti-creative mode. This afternoon I wondered if it was fun. It really was! I haven't built much but at least I've made a start. I want to make a village and so far I've spent 3 hours making 1 house and a half finished shop.

It depends on the size and how big the structure is that I'm wanting to build, creative mode is quite forgiving and allows you to back and easily edit your creation. I normally cannot build something in one quick session, it normally takes me hours to go back and perfect everything and make it just how I like. I would say the average time for a medium build would be two hours or so. The size of the creation definitely will determine how long it will take to build.

I don't really use so much creative mode because I don't like it, I prefer to play as a survivor and I try to not abuse. I've played Minecraft for 4 years, most of them as a survivor, fighting in the jungle, but I've also used creative to prove some mods or other things that I'd never prove as a simple human. I also used it to make so impressive structures or some works to the school. Returning to the question, I've played basically around 2 weeks (approximately 170 hours). It's not so much for two years.

The only time I ever play Creative is if I want to test something or demonstrate something. I don't like creative because it bores me. There is no challenge in it. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with it. I think it's great that there is the option to create things in 3D without ever needing to learn a complicated 3D application, but it's not the thing for me.

I build a lot of houses, so it makes a town. And I try to incorporate some Redstone through out the houses I build. The town has to flow, and by flow I mean, I make it so your char can walk everywhere without the need to jump, a lot of half slabs. I try to do that inside the house and within the town limits. I build mostly modern style, but I do have some builds with a different stylings. in my worlds Everything has to be logical I can't have a floating platform without what looks like solid support.

When survival I obviously play a little different, my tunnels are probably the most ocd there are I lay a lot of half slabs and stairs so you don't have to jump, through out the mine shaft (flow), and I do the touches always on the right side going in technique, and left going out.

Only used Creative mode for fooling around with different designs. I usually use it to test different things, so I don't destroy my regular maps with my retardism. Like the last time I was messing around with Tnt trying out different ways to make cannons so I could eventually make a Battle Ship with working cannons.

Around 3-4 hours whenever I play.
