How long have you been playing WoW for?

I took medium breaks ( a few months ) but I was around since sunwell expansion. Come to think about it, that's a lot of time!

 

I'm not even sure at this point. Around five years or so? Maybe a little longer. ​

 

First account was back during the end days of Vanilla and a little into BC but I could never get into it back then. I jumped in again with a new account towards the end of Wrath and got hooked. Consistently, 5 years roughly?

 

My first account was banned and sadly i'm stuck with a new one, but I managed to max it character wise pretty quick.

 

I have taken a ton of breaks over the years, usually at the end of every expansion. But I have been playing since about 6 months after release. It is funny thinking back now, but I completely discounted the game because I was coming from UO and I hated the fact that you couldn´t have a ´crafting´ character. 2 professions per account is what kept me from playing at launch.

 

Can't blame you on that. GW2 spoiled me rotten with having all crafting professions with only paying gold to make a quick switch. I hate leveling alts because I get attached to 1 character and I hate having to level up professions dead broke on an alt when it takes forever.

 

Started on retail during Wotlk and kept playing until Firelands was released. Then I started playing on private servers up until this day. I am enjoying my time on private servers and I never looked back for ditching retail.

 

For about 5 years. Best game ever for sure.

 

Around 6 years now. And, like the others, I've taken breaks here and there so I wouldn't get burned on it. I e played pretty steady, though

 

I have played for around 5 years now. I have stopped playing now because of finances but will return in the future. Super fun game!

 

I started the game in February 2005, before Meeting Stones were introduced. I still remember when Blizzard announced the Warsong Gulch battlegrounds. Back then, you had to go over to the WSG instance to talk to the NPC and queue up. Too bad they made everything today so easy.

So that pretty much means I've been playing the game for over 10 years. However, I play on-and-off. In the beginning, I subscribed for about a year, took a few months off, then subbed for another year, etc. In the last few years since around 2011, I would sub for 2-3 months, take 2-3 months off and then repeat.

I'm taking a break right now, but will go back to it probably in late Spring.

 

I have played for about two years with small breaks from time to time. Getting more active in game, because some of my friends are returning to it.

 

I played for... about 10 years with a few years off. Gosh that's a lot of time! But I don't regret any second of it. I made a lot of friends and had great time. I'm not playing right now but I know for certain that I'll be playing the next expansion.. and the next... and the next after that

 

I have been playing it for around 10 years now, and taken some rest as well and played other games as this can be quite long and also have to think about your next move. The early games some of them did not have the top graphics so some people maybe put off by them and may go for the new ones which have improved the gameplay and also nice graphics too. I have started playing the new ones as I like the way it is made and also, easy to understand the gamplay and easy to do as well.

 

I have been playing for about 8 years straight now, however I did not become really dedicated until BC. In fact my whole family plays! I have tried many other mmo's but keep sticking with wow. I think it is because I really enjoy the art style. Kudo's Blizz!

 

I started with a trial account in 2008 because I was curious and have been playing on the kilrogg realm. I started a guild and have made a number of friends in game. I have bought all the expansions and rolled with the changes over the years.

 

Stopped playing about a month ago (after playing for around 3 months). Usually I played an average of around 3 hours a day. I'd sit down and relax and text my GF while I played it in windowed mode. But like always I got bored of it and quit, again. This is about the 4th time now, lol. I go in spasms, play for 3 months, quit for 8 months, start again

 

I'm 21, and played WoW from when I was about 16 years old until 2-3 months ago. (On and off of course, didn't actually play everyday for all those years lol. But there were times when I did, especially for events and during the summer) I used to play a lot. On weekdays probably around 4-5 hours. On weekends it was probably around 8-10 hours depending on heroics/raids and the like.

 

I played for I believe 4 years before I eventually stopped. I didn't get bored with it or anything like that. Just other things have started to take up my time. So henceforth, my time with WOW was dwindling.
