I don't know if this is known already but here goes anyway.

I was playing with my 3D Vision settings as usual because as most people don't understand, 3D settings must be precisely configured based on viewing distance/in-game FOV/screen size, IPD, etc. If you don't it looks like a 3D movie, a little bit flat and boring and not a window to another world like it damn sure can.

Anyway....... (sorry, had to get that out)

At one point i was holding down the left and right mouse buttons before the game loaded and playing with F5 and F6 keys and it skipped all the way to the cart with the options panel. I've quite figured out what exact buttons do what, but i can consistently skip to the cart by holding down both mouse buttons and alternate pressing F5 and F6. More testing is required to figure out the exact buttons involved, but i don't have the required patience right now.

btw: Holding the mouse buttons down seems to allow you press keys without starting the "fly forward down the tunnel" sequence. I wonder if there are other functions like a dev console or prompt that might be made available with other key presses.

If you test this out i suggest assigning "close program" to one of your mouse buttons. I have minimize and close set to left and right mouse wheel and can never go back!

    Hope this helps.

I have now gotten it to skip to the cart by just pressing mouse button 1 and 2 at the same time and holding down 1, then pressing 2. Who knows. I still hope somebody finds a dev console though.

  3. Alt+tab out and back in during the intro to skip it, then press "Use" to skip the part with the doors right to the menu.

Why do that when you can just press both mouse buttons, much easier.

Btw, i just remembered there are two intro parts. The first is pre-rendered, its just a video and I skip that by renaming a file (if forget the name). I did that awhile ago. So the intro starts at the body lying in the steel rebar and red light.

This is really late, but here's that file renaming thing you were talking about (And thanks for that holding down of the mouse buttons fix. No longer do I have to waste 30 seconds of my life every time I run LL):
