How would you link GW2 characters to GW1 characters(character history wise)

    How in the world would you link your Guild Wars 2 characters to Guild Wars 1 characters if you wanted them to be in the same lineage? I mean 250 years between the two games is a lot of years and a lot of generation were formed. So how would you even begin to count how many generations there were til your character was born? Without sitting down drawing out 250 years worth of generation templates. My brain hurts now for thinking about it. :confused:

    I already have my Necromancer's family history & crest. He was grandson to the great Mistress Vieratage who was the granddaughter of "one of" the heroes of the Flame Prophecies.... the awesome gene skips a generation. :cool:

    Ya I have a few backgrounds drawn up for the characters I already have in mind and their relation to my gw1 chars.

    I even have a Sylvari that I have created a relationship to a prev character. Without going into too much detail I just kind of make it that the spirit of the character visited the Sylvari and that is what caused him/her (still deciding m/f on it) to awake.

    I already have mine mapped out. If you think about it; If each generation lived to about 70 years we are only talking about 3.5 - 5 generations. I think the number of years makes it seem a bit more daunting.
