I don't know if I can afford it

As you may know, some of us probably wont be able to spend $15 a month on top of spending $60 for the game. I wish there was some sort of single player aspect to the game, because I wont be able to play it until I can afford to, or until they decide to make it free-to-play.

So, what are the ones who can't afford to play it to do?

Well if you can't afford $15 a month then it's time to get a job. :p No but jokes aside, if you can't afford it then don't play it.

I for one can afford it, but won' be wasting m money like that. can wait for it to go F2P or B2P. If it doesn't, I will simply bail out.

It will likely be cheaper than $15, providing you buy playtime in bulk. P2P means the game remains free from pay to win, and it means the servers will be flooded with less children. Less children means less ninjas and more higher quality players. Honestly, why would you want to play an overpopulated game with people stealing your loot and constant pop-ups telling you to buy the new tiger mount? Free or not, that just wouldn't be fun.

There's tons of avenues for making $15. If you're able to afford the $60, then you've discovered a way to earn money. I remember playing Everquest on my Dad's credit card. I think it was around $20/month back then (or am I thinking of a different game?). I did some work around the house, he never cancelled the game.

I really don't think I will be playing Elder Scrolls Online, despite the fact about how much I loved the Elder Scrolls series and the community's mods. 15$ per month feels like a bit too much, and I would rather not pay monthly just to get on a game to ease and waste some time through a modern form of entertainment...

If it was free, I'd definitely try this out. Even if it was F2P-P2W, I would have tried this game out, but seriously a monthly subscription is just a bad idea. I mean, even GTA V tried to impose subscription fees and they cancelled it due to the community members complaining.

The price tag isn't a big problem for me. I have a good job and I believe I can handle it. $15 a month for 12 months translates to 180, so it isn't that bad to be honest. If you have to, save up $180 and there you go. I doubt there's going to be stuff like taxes, and if so, save a little more.

I can definitely afford 15$ a month, but I won't do it. I completely disagree with the whole monthly fee thing, it's like buying a house and still paying rent for it. If they need an income to maintain their servers etc, they should find something better than charging me for a game I have already bought.

That is actually quite a nice comparison! I'll have to remember that one.

$15 a month is kind of too much for me... that means in one year I have to pay $180. Kind of insane for a game if you ask me.

I agree if you cant afford it then get a job, but personally I don't think a game is worth paying that kind of money for I mean when you get tired of the game and decided you no longer want to play anymore that's a lot of money down the drain I rather use the $15 for something else or wait for a private server.

For me, it's really hard to ascertain how worthwhile a game is until I've seen enough gameplay footage and reviews to judge its merit. What I could only observe here is that maybe the information we have as of the moment is, for most people, not enough to invest on the current price tag.

Again, I still think it really depends, but I do wonder how it would affect Bethesda's bottom line.

I know how you feel here. I'm not quite sure if I could afford it either. Not only because of the price, but also the game system requirements. I don't have the best desktop computer for gaming. So I'd probably have constant lags throughout the game. Which would make paying for this game an overall waste in my opinion. From what I've also read in reviews, it's not the best game out there. $180 worth it year? Hmm, probably not!
