    Long story short, I'm in the finals for a contest to get a robot design into the new descent game. I'm a few votes short of first, and would appreciate any votes toward my repair bot. http://descendentstudios.com/community/topic/1738-design-path-stage-1-voting/

    Dude, this is kinda selfish. You don't really post here anymore, yet as soon as you need our help you pop out of nowhere? There's nothing wrong with that in terms of rules, but it's a bit of a crappy thing to do. I registered on that website just to vote for ya anyway since you're a good friend and I would like your bot to win, but it would also be nice to see you actually posting on this forum again. :p You're still 3 votes behind the other guy, by the way.

    Indeed, which is why I did it. Sorry if I sounded too aggressive, it just sucks seeing so many familiar faces disappear. :(

    Btw, Thestalker, I think there is something wrong with the voting. Your bot is still at 24 and I'm sure it was like that before Komo voted. In fact, I think it may have been so before I did that too. Maybe there is some other restriction placed on new users (like having to post a few comments before your vote counts)? Hopefully it's just some silly delay in displaying it on the website.

    I have a short break in the morning, between classes, and that's usually when I check in on the forum. I just got to a computer and saw this thread. Created an account before reading the rules and found out that, when I was ready to vote, the pole closed, today, June 22 at 11:00 am. It was 11:33 when I finished registering :(. Sorry, dude.

    While I agree with Bamul completely, I have to be honest and say that Posting it here was actually my idea/proposal to TheStalker, via Steam. He had already thought of that, but had refrained from doing it for the exact specific reason that Bamul just said :lol:

    Anyway, sucks to see you didn't win, TheStalker. Maybe next time. Was close, though: 24 vs 28. Either way, that flamethrower will probably be really neat ;) ;) ;)

    Ahh, that makes sense. Well there is one solution either way... come back to the forum. :p

    As for your defeat in the poll, I'm sure they will still consider your ideas since you came second and you're also really dedicated to all this stuff. :)

    Haha, I'd post more but there isn't much to talk about lately. If another metro game is announced, I'd probably be on more often xd.
    (I still look at the go thread I posted and see it has no new replies. Why must you all break my heart)
