    Would you be upset?

Following the recent news that Max payne 3 is delayed by 2-3 months to ensure quality I find that developers should all take this attitude.

If LL was delayed I would not be upset. 4A are not only making the game a multiplatform release (PC, XBOX, PS3) but they are also working on multi player elements.

So if it meant that we were getting a polished game I would not be upset if the game was delayed until Sep 2012 or later.

We don't need another Crysis 2 HD texture pack situation on our hands where the community lashes out on the developers.

I'd be annoyed, but I'd appreciate that they want to make it perfect and get rid of all the bugs (an action which many games seem to do post-production these days, with patches). I hope they really make this game amazing, no patches, awesome dlc, amazing story, and no major changes in atmosphere or design.

Well given that there's no hard date not really, a small delay for quality wouldn't bother me since the alternative is an unpolished and rushed game.

i dont mind bugs there an almost unavoidable force u cant truly test a game until you give it up to the public. i mean sure they'll fix a lot before release but theres bound to be 1 or 2 in there somewhere.

i wouldn't mind, in fact i would encourage the devs to take as much time as they needed.

I want them to take the time it takes. Thereby, I don't really care if they delay it 2 years, as long as they FINISH it. xD

I can tell you now the texture packs were the least of the problems with Crysis 2. That game was dumbed down immensely from the original, which was a masterpiece.

Personally I wouldn't mind the game being delayed as long as we get a polished product which isn't 'streamlined' or missing features.
