If you had the authority to add 1 thing to Minecraft, what would it be?

I would add a gun to Minecraft, like a musket or something similar. There are no really end game ranged weapons, the bow is pretty much the only one and stays the same until you enchant it far down the line after you have already found diamonds and the like, I would add a musket that is crafted with some wood and iron, and then musket balls which are iron. It would 1 shot most mobs and 2 shot players also.

    What would you add?

If I could will it: Better AI. Something that would make people actually very afraid of mobs, or actually enjoy having a pet wolf.

Spaghetti. No explanation should be needed.

hehehehe spaghetti. I like that. I would like to see jetpacks or some form of ships I can build or buy that can run over creepers and let me get going faster.

Yeah, more boats could be pretty cool :p But my vote is still on spaghetti.

I would add a town that could spawn at a rarer rate than villages where the currency is gold nuggets. There could be roads and shops for people to buy and sell things. It would be cool to build or claim your own shop where you can actually accumulate gold nuggets and buy other supplies and materials, or to just make things like golden apples :D.

This isn't specifically adding an item, but modifing and adding another item. I think the bow should be split into two parts; the shortbow which is designed for short range and low damage and the long bow which is designed for long range and high damage.

These are some really fantastic ideas, I love the gold trading one and the splittable bow.

I would add more wearable things, like jewelry or something to show your wealth. It seems like once you obtain everything in Minecraft, the only way to show your wealth is through some dumb looking diamond armor.

If I had the authority to add a single item to the game, it would probably be a grappling hook. Imagine how useful it would be in certain situations, such as cave exploring, etc. There are already mods based on grappling hooks, but I think it would be a great addition to vanilla Minecraft. In my opinion it should be harder to craft, though.

More creative mode focused features.. I prefer creating to surviving but it is sometimes a pain to build because the game is tailored entirely to the survival folk.

What would they change? Something similar to worldedit built in would be pretty useful, but aside from that there's not a huge amount they could do...

More advanced AI, would be much more cooler if your pet Wolf was actually like a real one, it would make things much more cooler and fun.

If they added spaghetti they could also add things like tomato and cheese to have with the spaghetti, and there would be proper plates and tables and you can share a spaghetti meal with your friends. Also there will be spaghetti blocks so I can have a room full of spaghetti and if I want spaghetti I just go in there and take a block and smelt it (obviously the furnace will take hot water, where you put water near lava)

    I would add random events.
Maybe there's a huge mob of skeletons walking by, or there's a flood in that area over there, or maybe a tornado from time to time.

A system where you can easily integrate mods. Adding mods in Minecraft is all good and all, but sometimes there are problems and the process of installing them are just too long and too confusing. Minecraft needs to add some sort of one button press (not literally of course) that can easily add mods, install them and detect whether or not it is compatible with each other. Yes, this is difficult because you can't add a system like this based on third party mods, it's unreliable and risky. But, modding is such a big aspect of Minecraft it can be hugely difficult to ignore such a thing.
