    Man, I really hope that was Easy Difficulty as the enemy AI was just laughable. =P

    I'm hoping at least one site will showcase Ranger Mode as that's the only way I can play Metro now. I wonder if Ranger mode will also restrict your peripheral vision with the nightvision goggles like 2033, it was a very nice touch in the first game.

    I would recommend against watching this one if you are wary of gameplay or other spoilers.

    And yeah the guy playing it is amazingly bad at it. There are a lot of keys so it's understandable if you forget which key is what when you play it for the first time, without having had any of the introductions to all the equipment and things like that. But I share your "why would you even..." moments when I watched it :D

    I can't say I agree at all that Last Light is more shooter-y than Metro 2033 by the way. If anything it's less so due to the stealth mechanics :/. Maybe he meant that the shooting mechanics are better.

    I do agree that it can feel very Half-Life-y ;)

    Hey Pew! Do you know if the nightvision goggle peripheral view restriction is completely gone from the game? I'm hoping at least Ranger mode still has it...

    Are you referring to the latest Gamespot vid? Just checked it and there's no restriction in the vid. His light was left on which kinda gave a darker peripheral impression, but yeah still full screen visibility. Not a big deal, but really enjoyed the 'realism' of it in 2033.
