Sometimes I wish I could read with my eyes closed. I'm just too tired to blink. :) I guess that means I should actually go to sleep. Ha ha!

Unless all that shizzle actually happens in 2033, then there's a slight chance that I'll be playing Metro2033 :D

In 21 years I'll probably be reading the book again. Or if by then there are any other Metro books in English. But I seriously doubt I'll be playing the game, though I'll likely still have it on my shelf. Who knows, maybe there'll be a new Metro 2033 game by then, like a remake of it.

I don't think games will change all that much, they'll just have much better models with more polygons, or if the atom/voxel system ever takes off they'll avoid polygons entirely. I imagine by the year 2033 we'll have access to games which look consistently photo-realistic, although that's not a huge jump from games like Crysis, which were pretty much at that point in 2007, albeit with some areas looking slightly dated by now.

I actually think I will store my computer in a box when i don't wanna use it or desktops become outdated, so I can try and play it in 2033. Not so much because of the year, but because of the nostalgia :p

Well after 21 years i will be 38 years old so i why not, if i wont fight in some stupid nation/ WW3 war for some stupid goverment :tsk: i probably live in some far country from where i leave now, because every time i try to watch News on TV i just get more depressed knowing that i leave in a nation without any future... So i hope by the time there will be some implants and i could get augmented and would be able to play metro 2033 game in my brane or some Metro 2033-augmented version :D Deus Ex: Artiom revolution :)

As someone already said, I don't think gaming will change much besides from the graphics. There are videos and TV shows about playing shooters with lots of stuff connected to your body and a visire and stuff like that, but I don't think they'll get far with it. Not in 2033 at least, that's way too short time. In the 1900s, everyone thought that the 20th century would be way more futuristic than what it actually is, so.... Yeah.

Skaara world was growing fast back then and new things wasn't easy for everyone to approve and live with them so fast, wich caused terrible things to happen. Since industrial revolution everything started changing very fast, I mean in around 200 years we've come to be talking in boxes with each other, and that is because that is when world really started grewing after the very deep medieval fall. I believe we can reach very high untill 2033.
