Insane lag in EU - Loss Prevented

    Just wanted to give you a warning that at the moment EU servers are lagging like hell. Riot is giving Loss Prevented, but it seems that in placement matches Loss Prevented pretty much counts as a normal loss, so you will just get screwed over.
    1 hour ago I did my first ranked game for this season and it resulted in 9 people lagging(their top riven wasn't however) and throughout the whole game the lag just kept getting worse. The last 10 minutes of the game I wasn't able to see the enemy team before they attack me and some of my spells stopped working lol...

    Here is an announcement by Riot that just came out.

    Basically even if you win 9 games with stats 9:0 you might be(and will be for sure) placed in a lower division than someone who have 8:2 stats because your base MMR will be lower.
    Also apperantly since when the enemy team get's Loss Prevented you get less "points" and that can be really bad for you as well. There is for example 1 guy that did 10:0 in the placement matches and was given Bronze III probably because of that issue.

    That is practically impossible. I think he was playing with a premade that was in bronze 5.

    Meh, even now in 2015 servers are lagging like hell, so it doesn't surprise me at all, haha.
