Is anyone else a "Dwarf" like me? By that I mean either 90% of more of most of your buildings are underground caves turned into mansions or waypoints to navigate a long ravine. From that to underground farms and lakes, I like to find a lake and hollow out the bottom and replace it with glass, making an entire village under a lake with a glass sky or roof. Most of the people I know go ahead and build above ground. I like to make houses inside hills or mountains, much like the Dwarves of lore and legend. I also spend a lot of time of time gathering materials from the ground only going up for wood and foods generally.

So, does anyone spend an extensive amount of time below the chunkworld? I know I have!

I regularly mine underground. Does that count as being a dwarf?

I'm not sure I'd call that being a dwarf, but that's pretty clever with the glass barrier inside the lake. I know plenty of people that prefer to stay underground, and they can build some pretty incredible things down there.

EQ1, Dwarf City inside a mountain and moling around like Simon from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann anime. WoW, Dwarf city inside a mountain. Lotro, Dwarf city inside a mountain. Moria. For ages untold Dwarves exist underground. I mostly do too, is what I said and meant with the quotation marks. I also harvest a lot barely see the light of day. I think you could also say "spelunker" or "cave activist" it you like political correctness. I just like being closed up and forming my own house out of nowhere anybody would suspect, and make it just as awesome as the mines of Moria.

I love building underground. I often have to mine for large amounts of stone, so it gives me the space to build.

I basically build everything underground. I usually keep my farms above ground for convenience though. I love connecting different building underground with a rail system.

I do a lot underground too! The reason is because I don't have to build a roof! And the walls are already set in place for me.
