Is anyone looking forward to the new PS vita Minecraft release?

I'm just really excited that it's going to be the full game available on the vita, and not like the mobile pocket edition. Supposedly we're going to be able to share saves directly between our ps3/4 and vita, which means you can just shoot your save over to the vita when you can't play at home. I just wish there was a more definite release date...

I'm not really excited about that, since I don't own a PS Vita. I wonder if this is going to happen now that Microsoft acquired Mojang. Since there is no definite release date, according to you, it might not happen at all! I hope they release it, though, since you seem really enthusiastic about the soon-to-(probably)-be-released game!

The Vita would offer some great cross-play features between PS3 and PS4. I think they'll release the title for Vita, but it could take a little more time. I doubt they'll just scrap the project because it will still earn some money.

Not very excited about that to be honest. I probably will stick to what I had. Will be cool to see some reviewing though.

I'm not really bothered. I guess people with a vita will benefit from this but doesn't affect me since I don't have one! It might even be cancelled as Microsoft has took over Minecraft so. May not happen.

PS Vita doesn't really have anything exclusive in my opinion so i don't really see the point in it, like Minecraft, there's no point of getting a PS Vita JUST for Minecraft if you already own it on Xbox or PC

I prefer this release over the mobile since this is a proper gaming console and the phone doesn't really do the game justice when it comes to the controls and overall experience.

I never really cared about the mobile version of Minecraft since I don't really feel the need to play on mobile anyways. But I think this is great news because I've played the Pocket Edition on Android and the iPad and to be honest it's not really good when it comes to the touch screen controls.

The Vita is a very cool handheld, I think that Minecraft would be fun on it. The mobile version of the game was successful as well as the console version. Considering that there is a lot of cross play between the console and the Vita, I think that the two will be very similar.

I don't have a Vita and I'm not planning to buy one so no. In my opinion, it wouldn't work well on the Vita anyway. I don't think the controls would work that well, and people who own Vitas are likely to have smartphones which can have Minecraft Pocket Edition. So to be honest, I don't think it will be successful.

I don't have a vita so I'm not excited. But if I have Vita I may be excited about it.

Well my husband is the one with the vita, but I play on the PC really. I may be a little excited though it may be something to look forward to. I am sure it will be good, but who knows. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Ugh no I'm not looking forward to it at all. Have you played the Minecraft pocket edition? It sucks IMO. That's because the controls suck and there's barely anything to do compared to the PC version. I think that the PC version is better than anything else, hands down.

I had no idea that this was even a thing that was coming out. I'm pretty excited now since I've pretty much gotten over any of my old Vita games. I'm glad it's not going to be like the mobile app because that was a piece of crap in my humble opinion. It was a way for Minecraft junkies to get their fix when they had to be away from their computer or in school lol. Can't wait to see how they do it. If it's a full version and officially Minecraft then is it Microsoft doing the release? I don't see where else a version of it could come from since the rights have been sold.
