Is there a Resource Pack or Texture mod you need to play?

Question in title. Name any texture..Em, Resource packs you usually need to play. Mods like optifine that have graphical enhancements can help too. Maybe you like vanilla? Maybe you just stick to what your PC can run? Do you use shaders mods?

I have been using the Sphax PureBDCraft texture pack for around a year, I do use Optifine, it doubles my FPS! However I don't use shader mods because they are very processor intensive on my computer.

I have a fairly decent laptop so I just stick with what my PC can run, but I might search for a shader mod just to try one, any recommendations?

Have you ever tried the Far Cry mode? It's really amazing and it transforms your gaming experience into something else.

I've been thinking about getting a shader mod but I don't want anything to mess up my computer.

Anytime that I play Minecraft having Optifine is a MUST for me. My old computer isn't powerful enough to run Minecraft without the assistance of this awesome FPS boosting mod. Optifine is free as well, so that's always a plus.

I use Optifine for my Minecraft. I have a decent computer that can run Minecraft with alright FPS, but I just use it to boost my FPS. When playing Minecraft, it just feels so much smoother for me, so I think Optifine is a must have for everybody that plays Minecraft.

Don't really like that one, too flashy and is all about sandy beaches and jungles: not my favourite biomes.

They do different things. Optifine helps you tweak the visuals. Shader makes the environment look more realistic by rendering light and the interaction with light differently.

Also, next time, instead of posting a new post, you can just edit the old one.
