Is there really no path for people like me? (Achiever type?)

    • According to the Bartle gamer psychology test, I'm 100% the achiever type. The problem is, wildstar doesn't really make a specific path that caters to this type, so none of the paths are particularly appealing:
      Explorer:
As an achiever I thoroughly enjoy overcoming a difficult jump challenge and scaling a mountain, but I dislike wandering aimlessly and "errand boy" quests that have you running around the whole zone delivering/ searching for things/ special drops mindlessly.
      Scientist:
As an achiever I thoroughly enjoy overcoming mind puzzles, challenges your brain or simply having interesting gadgetry to play with. But I dislike collecting, reading through lore (sry I just find it tedious) and scan grinding.

I'm sure there is enough problem solving and feature for you in the game. How about you get a free trial or demo or what they have to offer first, and give it a shot? Otherwise, it sounds like you'd like WOW. However, a lot of the starting quests on that are running errands.
