It finally happened. I got stuck in a log. The first 'oops' moment.

    As most of you know, I'm technically new to the game; having stopped playing soon after starting a long time ago. I was testing out the game today to see what I liked and what I disliked. On a certain quest, I needed to go towards the ocean or a lake somewhere. You know the quest, the one very early on where you need sea cucumbers. Anyway, I fell off of a hill and landed behind a log. Unfortunately, there was no way to get out of behind it. Eventually, I just used my hearthstone and retraced my footsteps back. What was it like for you all when you had your first 'oops' moment in game?

    I have been playing this game for over a couple of yeas now, but I have never been stuck anywhere. I will give Blizzard credit for it.

    I don't have a biggest "oops" moment. They're all equal -- when I fail to hold aggro as a Protection Paladin and the group wipes because of me. Thank god I've been matched so far with (mostly) understanding people that forgave me.

    I'm not familiar with that quest at all. Alliance or Horde? I've only ever played Horde.

    I guess my biggest "oops" moment would be the one 5-man dungeon Maraudon (I think that's the one?), where there's a section where you have to make a running leap over a ravine. I fell down on my first try every time I ran through it and my guild had to wait for me to run all the way around and come back and try again. I hated that dungeon. :/

    I've done most of the things mentioned so far, and sometimes you just make a dumb but random mistake that winds up costing you. It's not a huge deal, and hopefully it's more funny than it is problematic.

    I know what you mean troutski. When I got stuck behind the tree, I asked a buddy of mine what I should do and he said to just contact a gm through a ticket. I opted not to since I could just use the hearthstone and make my way back like that, but I'm surprised there haven't been any stuck up a tree jokes from that buddy over that.
