Its that true goku is coming to league of legends?

Yes because there is a Saiyan planet in Runeterra. Also because its not like anime characters are copyrighted or anything

 

Probably some kind of hoax rumor someone started. It's not real man. That's if you're referring to the anime Goku from the hit series Dragon Ball Z. I don't know if there's any other Goku character from media. I'm sure there's other Goku's besides DBZ's Goku. I may be wrong though.

But yeah, I searching it up, and couldn't really find a definite answer. Just something to do with a monkey king, which looks nothing like Goku. Unless this monkey king is actually named Goku as well. Please do tell me if I'm wrong.

 

It would have been awesome if that happened but that's prolly fake. Also they cant bring him on lol cause in order to be realistic he should be one shoting people with just an auto attack.

 

Okay, so here's what's up: Sun Wukong is the name of the Monkey King, originally from Journey to the West, a Chinese novel. Dragon Ball started as sort of a parody of Journey to the West with a touch of Fist of the North Star rolled up in there; Goku's full Japanese name is Son Gokū, which is the Japanese form of the Monkey King's name.

When Riot started making Champions, they decided they wanted a Monkey King character, and chose to use the Chinese name in creating Wukong. So if you want to play as Goku....that's probably as close as you're gonna get.

 

I'm sure that's absolutely not true. It wouldn't fit the theme at all, and it's something riot won't do, they always create their champions.

 

Okay who made this up? This is really absurd lol. First time I've ever heard something like this. Why in the world would you put someone from an Anime T.V show onto a MOBA game?

 

That would be so cool. Goku in League of Legends would be really crazy! Then, they should add a series of other Dragonball characters!

 

It's not going to happen. If you want a moba with anime shit there's a Chinese version of league with a bunch of anime characters and it's really bad.

 

I really doubt that they have the licensing to ever do that. I imagine funimation would want tons of money for something like that.

 

I looked it up, and couildn't find anything whatsoever on it, so it's probably just a hoax. And it'd be a little weird for Riot to include Goku as a champion as I don't think they'd have the licensing for him nor would they want to purchase they licensing for him. Would be kind of cool to see how a Goku champion would play though.

 

He would be way to OP! HE would pentakill everyone at level one! Riot can't do that anyway due to copyright laws preventing them from stealing characters.

 

I feel like he would have something like a bigger Lux ult if that happened. He would be combined of Lux, Yi, and Lee Sin.

 

That would be cool if he did. However, he'd be OP and will wreck sh*t up. I'd rather not have him in League.

This will never happen as Riot only introduces new champions and not stuff from a show or anime as you've already seen with the existing champions. These champions have been created and thought up by the Riot staff and also including players input in some cases to come up with ideas.

 

If it's true then I'd like to give that character a go! Goku was one of my heroes and I pretty much had fun watching the anime. I personally think that it would be epic! Just thinking of his saiyan mode is nostalgic.

 

I don't think it's really happening. It would be really cool to see that though, but I definitely don't see it coming. Plus, I've never even heard of them even consider this.

 

It's not going to happen most likely. At most I could see Wukong getting a Goku related skin at some point, but Goku's most likely never going to be in LoL .
