Last Light based on our ideas?

    Last Light based on our ideas?

    In our roleplay Skaara's characters was on a plane crash. In the trailer there IS A PLANE CRASH. One of my characters was from university. In the trailer, when your outside to the left is the Universoty building. Also my character travelled by train earlier in the roleplay. And you get to ride on a train during the 12 minute gameplay.

    Maybe they looked at our forum for ideas? lol i dont know but i just thought to share this with you guys. :pop2:

    I thought about this as well :p I think it's just pure coincidence, as we chose what we chose for a reason; it fits to the story of Metro, and that's what THQ have been thinking too :p
    But when I first saw the gameplay trailer with a crashed plane that they went into, I was like "OMG, IT'S THE PLANE BENJI CRASHED IN! :O"

    Anyway, how awesome wouldn't it be if you were playing Last Light when it came out, then all of a sudden you met Benjamin at some bar and he became your companion for some while through the game! :D
    But in all seriousness, as I said earlier, I'm pretty sure it's just a coincidence. And it's not a very rare coincidence either, because the reason I thought of the plane crash was because it fits with the story, and that's what THQ thinks too, and the same with the trains; Of course there are trains in the metro! Why would there not be trains there?? :p

    komodo said it's different, but then we never saw Pavel die, we just assumed he did, if he is the one which got jumped by nosalis in the train cart.

    Yeah, he was pulled off the cart in high speed, then yelled "Eat this, you bitches!" before we heard an explosion. So, we would assume that he blew himself up with them, but what I didn't think of before now, is the posibility that he might have gotten onto his feet, throwed the nade at them and ran?

    I think he pulled the pin just before he was dragged out of the cart, and most grenades have a "fuse" of four seconds, so him surviving is unlikely.

    He doesn't pull the pin before being dragged off, but you're right that the fuse burns really fast. But still, if you look veeeeery closely, the explosion seems to be further away than what Pavel and the two/three mutants are. Now, even if he didn't explode, there's still a very small chance of him surviving with all those mutants, but who knows? :D

    Pavel is my favorite character, but he's dead. Really. I'd love to see him again, but he isn't coming back.

    The new Pavel is a Red Line officer. Artyom gets into an "unsteady agreement" with him and they traverse a dangerous swath of the surface together. When they said "Artyom saves Pavel", they mean that Pavel's gas mask was off as a result of the hallucination/flashback, and Artyom helped him become lucid again.

    Sorry to kill anyone's hopes, like I said: I'd love to see Pavel the Ranger, but he blew himself up for the greater good of humanity. Less tunnel trash, am I right?

    You're completely right, I never really expect Pavel to be alive, and I sort of already knew that the Pavel in Last Light is the same Pavel as in 2033. But I'm just saying; he MIGHT be alive. :3

    Oh, by the way, I was lying in bed here the other day and couldn't sleep, so my mind ended up drifting into the world of Metro, then I suddenly remembered something that I had almost forgotten!

    Earlier in the roleplay, when we were on the surface to take down the Nazi caravan to take the Nazi officer as prisoner, one teammember walked into a building, and Benjamin followed him, and inside they met huge spiders that ate off dead peoples' corpses, just like in the Last Light Interview trailer!

    And after that, on their way down into the metro, they had to get past some water, so they took a little boat, and on the way there was this underwater mutant, just like on the leaked picture! :D

    I'm telling you, guys.... this is getting really scary here :p

    Personally, I consider it is stealing because would you be okay with someone steals your ideas without your permission? I wouldn't approve with that. I am kinda of surprise that it seems Metro 2033 fans are okay with it.
