    I do not condone this behavior, I am saddened about resorting to it myself. I plan to purchase the normal version of Metro Last Light, but refuse to pay $5 for the ranger mode DLC. I am saddened because I also plan to pirate the DLC; again I do not condone this behavior. There is no other game, that I know of, that has made you pay extra for a harder difficulty. They say that only hardcore fans would want this and only hardcore fans should play this, it's hard. Boo fucking hoo, in today's gaming world where the games are dumbed down and carebear it up for the kiddies. I play EVERY game on the hardest difficulty possible and if there is an unlockable difficulty I then play again on that. Now you tell me The hardest difficulty is going to cost $$. No, sir it is not. It is merely going to force me to choose between morals. Whether I will remain true and refuse to buy any DLC or whether I will remain true and refuse to pirate Metro games. Metro has chosen and so have I.

    A lot of people think the same way you do.

    But nothing can be done now, nothing can be changed for MLL. Perhaps DS might take notes of the angry fans behavior and make sure this won't happen again. :)

    Buy the game, pirate the DLC seems fine to me. A lot better than pirating the game because of the DLC.

    Doooooooddddd that makes no sense. ALL pre-order copies will come with Ranger HC, just how Back to Karkand came with BF3 and was available for a good month or so after.

    Unless he messes up and buys a NVIDIA code like I did all the copies should be LE if bought from an established retailer.

    If Deep Silver were the Publishers of M:LL from the start of, I don't think it would have ever happened concidering how they have reasonably agreed with us and have wanted too to remove the pre-order. But they simply can't remove it, which is pretty much THQ's fault. :)

    As Majnu's template says, the Ranger Hardcore DLC will be free eventually once all Limited Editions are sold out. Until that happens, DS will keep charging an extra $5 for the Ranger Hardcore mode because they can't end what THQ started.

    I'm not entirely sure if THQ planned to make Ranger Hardcore into free DLC after all Limited Editions were sold out. But if they planned to keep charging 5$ for it, then DS has done a very good job to the absolute limit that they can push it by making the DLC free later on :)
