Have you played Legend of Dragoon on the PS1? It was a great game spanning four discs. It had graphics similar to FF7 but it was way better and it had an addictive combat system. It was one of my favorite RPGs during the day but I think not a lot of people noticed it because they were too busy waiting for FF8. If you have not yet played it, grab an emulator and check it out. It's very good.
I never played it sadly I didn't really play a lot of RPG's on the PS1 I mostly played games like NFS 2and Grand Turismo 1-2 sadly none of those games I ever beat.
Great game. I remember I did not know anything about the game, but just picked it up because of the cover. Nice surprise. Not as epic as FF, but solid game.
