I have spent seven straight hours playing Minecraft before. Anyone else ever binged before?

I've binged a few times before but only when playing in multiplayer, when some times I can play up to 6 hours. For singleplayer I usually get bored and run out of creative juices pretty quickly, felling exhausted and lacking in things to do. However, the thing that forces me to sit there and continue playing is the exciting and large scale wars between well known factions in servers, where members need to fight for their life - and to protect their bases, until either one of the factions give up or gets defeated. It is hard to leave the seat, thinking that once you stop, its over and you will get killed in mere seconds, having all your resources and base destroyed and thus hours of work disintegrated into dust.

The first time I played Minecraft with my friends, we probably binged a 12 hour session to create some extremely large house. It was a lot of fun back then when we all first started playing Minecraft. Unfortunately, the long gaming sessions don't really happen too much with Minecraft anymore. After playing the game for a couple of years, it really feels that everything that you can do with the game has been already exhausted. Adding mods to the game can be useful to alleviate that, but the original enjoyment with the game just doesn't appear anymore.

I've spent entire days playing minecraft. That was with short breaks of course. The longest I've ever went without a break was probably about 6 hours.

Longest time for me I'd say would be eight hours. I would have played longer but my boyfriend got tired and wanted to watch a movie.

My friend introduced me to the world of Minecraft around 6 pm and I ended up playing until 12 am :D. I was instantly addicted to the fact that I could create random things with pretty much anything in the game. But I've gotten over that and nowadays I play for about an hour a day.

Just like Annabell, I've also had my fair shares of sleepless nights due to Minecraft, and to be completely fair, I don't regret a single one. I was pretty into Minecraft back in the day, constantly striving to achieve more and more in my single player world, but that was before, and this is now. Now I just play it for the heck of it, or whenever I've got people to actually play with.

I agree with you guys, I used to pull all nighters for Minecraft as well. I also went through the phase of wanting to play Minecraft non-stop, as there were so many things to do and discover! All I would think about during my school days were how I was going to finish off the designs of my newest creations, and what I would add to it next. And as Drellius states, I don't regret a single wasted night, either. We do have the creations that came of it to be proud of!

17.7 Hours, I was building a server for someone and he payed me 80$. Well worth my loss of sleep. I used that money to buy a new HDD for recording space. The spawn was a gigantic hilltop settlement fortress, modeled after Total War Shogun : 2 I managed to pull off a scale minecraft version of The Towering Citadel. It looked awesome and I probably have pictures around here of it.

For me, I guess it was around 5 hours or so. I was binge playing online because I was making a train station for the town me and a few other people were creating.

Back when I first started playing Minecraft, I was a lot younger so my body had very little experience staying up late. I binged on Minecraft once till 1 o clock(I know, but back then it felt really late) and by the time I went to sleep, I wasn't tired... When I went to school the next day, I almost fell asleep at lunch. I don't think I've binged on games since then.

I binged pretty hard when I first discovered the game. It was my senior year of high school. It was a Sunday night, and I had a paper due the next morning. "I'll just play this for a little while and see how it is," I said to myself. Nope. Eventually, it was 4:00 AM, and I still hadn't started the paper. I didn't get any sleep that night.

I'm ashamed of what I'm about to say now, but I think that my longest sitting was about eight hours. I'm actually surprised that most of you don't have anything longer than that. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you guys did lol.

The longest sitting I have taken is probably, 7 hours. During this time period, I managed to finish off my creative build of a city. The city consisted of 7 skycrapers and a few smaller buildings. After that, I felt completely dead as it was 3 am. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone as it can ruin your eyesight badly.

The longest I've played is about 12-15 hours. It was around when I just got into Minecraft. I remember making my first city as if I made it yesterday. I'd still be playing like this if I had the time, but growing up really sucks. :(

I used to play for long periods of time. After playing it for so long and discovering everything in the game, I mostly just play it on my iPad now for a few minutes at a time if I'm in a car or a waiting room or something like that.
