I know when I get the game that I'm going to go with a warrior equipment set that has the deception magic spells when I start the new game. What is everyone else either starting with or started with?

I went with that as well. Even though this game is relatively forgiving, I'd rather have a build that is quite good with survivability, and the spells seemed interesting to me as well.

I prefere a toon that is well balanced. While heavy armor and magic shielding is highly reguarded, I prefere duel wielding (no shielding) with heavy emphasis as strength as the primary attribute. That allows for the type of challenges I crave.

Warrior seems to e the obvious choice as I want to go head to head with all the monsters in a close combat match. So this is what I chose.
