Majora's Mask has recently been announced for the 3DS, and everyone in my friend group is in a tizzy over the news. How is everyone else reacting about the game's coming to the 3DS console? Good? Bad? What are your thoughts?

It's a great addition to the 3DS, and the updated graphics are always a good thing. The N64 didn't exactly have spectacular graphics. I'm more excited for the new Zelda game coming in 2015, though.

Waaay after the release of the game, the graphics are amazing! My only disappointment is that they shifted some parts of Clocktown, but that's as far as I've had time to dig into the game. Every single color in the graphics pop and everything is so detailed, it really does bring tears to my eyes, as lame as that sounds.

I wish I had a 3ds to try this. MM was still one of the better "Creepier" themed Zelda games, which I'm definitely drawn towards. I just hope they did it justice - and from reading some posts here, they did. I know to look forward to playing it now :D

They totally did the game complete justice. I was just a little disappointed that they changed some of the things on the map. But, I really haven't gotten that far into the game yet. It is absolutely stunning and totally worth it.

I have yet to try the remake, but if it is anywhere near the 3DS remake of Ocarina, they will have done a great job. It makes thing a lot easier when the original game is amazing. So as long as they kept everything intact from the original, they will be ok.

I have played a little bit of Majora's Mask when visiting family and the graphics is good. I haven't played the game on any other system so I wouldn't know of any changes in the map. I have watched chuggaconroy on YouTube do a let's play so I have seen the rest of the game that way.

Well it's been a while now since the game came out, but now that I've played the game I think the hype was a little much. I mean the game was good, and I was mainly excited because I've never played the game before. My friends were also super excited, but most of them had already played the 64 version. I had hoped there would be some extra content when compared to the original version, but the additions were minimal. Yes the graphics were improved, but if so many people had already played the game, I am a little surprised there was so much hype. Maybe people expected new cutscenes or extra bosses, but Nintendo added nothing of the sort. All in all though I liked the game, I just wouldn't have been excited about it coming out if I had already played it before.

I haven't gotten the game yet, but I absolutely love the original so I'm hoping to get it soon. MM just had an atmosphere that Ocarina lacked in my opinion... it was not only about the gameplay, but such a dark and intense vibe from the story as well.
