    Really is is pretty meaningless. Bioware stopped being Bioare when EA bought them. Now it is just like any other EA property..

    I think the thread title is misleading. It's not the director in charge of the game who left, it's the development director. That role in videogame development is actually not that big in the grand scheme of things. If it was the creative director who left I'd be worried, but it's not the case here.
