What is the maximum price you'd pay per month for an MMORPG?

The max I'd pay is probably around £12/13. I love them but if a game where to charge more I'd cancel and choose one of the cheaper/free options.

I have budgeted in less than 15 dollars. This is about the equivalent of a movie ticket right?? So, I think my gaming gives me greater than or equal to the amount of enjoyment than a 2 hour movie does.

Right now, I probably wouldn't spend more than $20 or so on MMORPG's. I'm always looking for great new free MMORPG's to play, as most would take up more than half of my budget.

I'm a huge cheapskate so I would probably only be willing to pay £5 a month especially because the months add up, and I would rather just buy the whole game in one price. As well, so many games now are just exactly the same and you can get the exact same content for free so I would not be willing to pay a lot for something I could get very similar for free, but maybe that would change if I came across an amazing game that I couldn't live without

Depends what they offer, however normally I'm strictly against subscription fees and wouldn't even pay $5.
But if they are capable of providing me with gaming experience that other games can't, then I'd consider paying their subscription.

I wouldn't pay a dime. Yes, I don't like the subscription model at all. Having said this, I will pay a sub fees from the upcoming World of Darkness.

For a MMORPG, I wouldn't pay more than $20. I think it is not necessary to pay any money unless you are super desperate to play a game. There are many free to play games that are good.

I would be willing to pay up to $60 if the game did not have subscription fees. There are a lot of decent free MMORPGS on the market, so it would have to be a really good game in order for me to consider purchasing it.

I generally don't play games that require a monthly subscription, I think paying for the game is enough. If there was a game that could entice me to pay monthly, or if I even had time to seriously game, I wouldn't pay more that $10 a month to play a game.

I don't pay for monthly subscriptions. Even yearly subscriptions are not a choice for me. If it's a B2P game, I would say probably 30-40$ max, but the best price point would be from 10-20$. The game, however, better be worth it's money with an interesting storyline and replay value. It's why I always wait for reviews and community feedback before deciding on buying something. :)

I would prefer to pay nothing to be honest. The max I would pay would be $10 if I truly like the game. Other than that, I wouldn't pay for anything.

I wish I could say $30, but honestly if Fallout or Fable or TES came out right now with an MMORPG, I'd drop up to $80. It WOULD be fair, if it didn't require things like monthly subscription fees.

Jesus Christ I don't know if I would even pay that much for a hard drive. It is interesting to see what some members would pay compared to others. I guess I might be a little bit of a cheapskate with my expenses.

$15 seems logical enough, but maybe someone remembers there was a certain "VIP" server in EQ 1 where you had to pay $75 or so for additional perks, like GM events and other cool things.
I don't really remember how it all ended though so maybe someone can enlighten me what has happened with premium EQ server back in early 2000's ?

In the end I might end up paying double or even triple for a specific game or an in-game server like this with additional support and events, items etc.

The maximum I would ever pay is around 20$ and it would have to be a pretty good game to reel me in like that.
We live in an age where subscription-type mmos are getting outdated and most MMOs are either free-to-play or ready to play out of the box.

I much prefer it if the whole thing was free to begin with, but ah well. I think that for subscription fees, around 15-20 dollars a month is the limit of how much I'd give out of my pocket just so that I could waste my precious time killing dragons in your addictive game, mr. Developer.

I paid $15 for several years when I played World of Warcraft, but right now I wouldn't.
There are just too many great Free-to-Pay or Buy-to-Play MMO's for me wto worry about a subscription every month.

15 a month is my max. That's what I pay for FFXI and I'm quite happy with my service.

About 12-15 USD a month would be my max, and even then the game would have to be damn good.
