In Metro 2033 the combat was mostly

    1) In buildings
    2) Metro Tunnels
    3) Rail car chases
    4) Outside

Would you like to see more added?

How about an old abandoned air craft hanger which has old soviet fighter choppers - could have some air combat with demons.

Or an underground river system which has coal powered boats. We could have some strange eel like monsters which we have to defeat.

    Sorry I'm bored lol

I don't know if there is such place in the metro.
Though they could have more combat in the stations, like in the level defence but with more feeling that you're defending lives.
In the defence while youre defending you are hearing cries in the background but when you get behind there it's moslty deserted, overrun with lurkers.
I want somthing similar but when you get behind the defence you are greeted by thankful families.

It's empty because they've all retreated up to the top, where you end up after the mission 'child'. The bodies which are strewn well, everywhere, are the result of the Nosalises which managed to get over the top, and apparently the Lurkers which managed to get underneath. It wouldn't be feasible for you to have a barricade immediately in front of the people you're trying to protect simply because of the fact that anything which gets through now immediately gets free reign on the people inside.

    -----------------------------------------

Personally, I'm not a fan of air combat coming into metro games, it just doesn't seem feasible; especially if we're playing as Artyom, who has no expertise on the use of Air vehicles.

Yeah i forgot that they where evacuated :D
But still lurkes popped up right after their gone? A little strange to me and also most of the stations in the game have defences right befor the stations, atleast the battlement is.

I'm also against air combat in the metro, totally unrealistic and also a little mainstream. A guy with no Pre experince of aircrafts just jump in and instantly become an expert flyer.

there must be a sewage system in the metro which spills out into the sea, I'd like to see more combat areas without spoiling the metro atmosphere and theme. I think taking to the air was a bit over the top.

I'm not sure how you're developing that idea? The metro is a system of underground train tunnels, not a sewer system, which is presumably separate.

There has to be some sort of draining system to keep the metro from flooding since it is underground. but maybe u could use the ventilation shafts more to get around kind of like a fast travel system, it was in the first game and book

Absolutely, although one would think the drainage system lead to a sewer system, rather than the sewer system being part of the metro.

Interestingly, some documentaries such as 'Life after man' suggest that without people operating the pumps concerned, the underground tunnels would flood entirely in a matter of hours - meaning that the events in metro might be entirely implausible.

Perhaps, but they wouldn't probably just abandon the pumps like that and since the mutans most likley didn't come over night so they probably had time to make defences.
    So still plausibel.
And don't forget that it was to be used as a shelter incase of war so they would most likley have some sort of backup.

I think exploring a little more of the surface, and especially more interesting buildings, would be great, but please: no vehicles. I think it would get a little too Hollywood. But the other points, yes, I agree.

Yeah, I've just started reading the book, and it explained that the original metro workers played a large part in showing people the ropes in the tunnels, so the issue of neglected pumps wouldn't be a problem in the inhabited areas; although neglected tunnels would conceivably be notably worse off.

It goes to the sewer system, as I said - did you think they dump straight into the metro tunnels? If that were the case they'd be wall to wall with excrement by now. Well, actually if you want to go by the book it's implied they use their waste for fertilising mushrooms, so it doesn't go to the sewers at all.

Having pipes which take waste to the sewer system (say, from a station toilet) does not mean the sewer system is part of the metro.
