Metro Last Light Is An Unplayable Mess!

    Loved the game my first time around, but upon a second play through I ran into countless glitches. Most were fixable via checkpoint restart, but one of them was not.

    During my second play through, I was going for the collectable achievement. Unfortunately when I got to the garden level (the boss part), the controls froze. I couldn't change my weapons or shoot for that matter. This glitch had happened numerous times to me before, but this was the first time I couldn't fix via checkpoint.

    So I tried everything; like clearing my system cache, changing controller, uninstalling update, deleting installed game....... Nothing worked! I still can't get past the boss because I can't shoot or change weapon or even sprint!


    Is there anyone else who had similar problems out there?(I am playing 360 BTW)

    Maybe its a Disk problem?

    Have you tried restarting the level? You've determined it's not a controller issue, but messing with the cache (and updates by association) and whether or not it's installed shouldn't affect anything other than load times. Restarting the level is the fix for 90% of issues people have with these games, so try that.

    This issue seems to only occur (for me) when I use the pneumatic weapons. (Helsing and Tihar). Once, on the level Revolution, I was able to do it repeatedly. When entering the final section of the level (with the railcar and two guards talking) I would switch to the tihar and kill the guard in the railcar. the moment i left ads i would be unable to do anything else. after restarting the checkpoint i switched to the tihar again, but it did the same thing. soon i realized that just switching to it was sometimes causing the glitch, and so i gave up and killed them both with my kalash.

    this glitch has also happened to me in various places when using the helsing, again for seemingly no reason.
