Metro Mafia roleplay, Day 3 (Finale and voting)

Discussion in 'Other' started by Komodo Saurian, Nov 18, 2014.

  1. The votes were cast and the decision was made. Bishop the Operative was grabbed and tossed in the corner. One of the stalkers put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. After kicking Bishop's body on its back he started digging through his belongings:

    - He has no key...

After a moment of silence an almost synchronized clanking was heard as stalkers trained their guns at each other.

    - So that's how it's gonna end, huh? - Borscht has finally decided to drop the act.

Gunshots echoed across the empty hallways as three bodies fell to the ground. Rusalka the Merc, who was sitting by the fire this whole time, stared at the corpses of Agrippa the Spartan, Borscht the Operative and Magpie the Cultist with an open mouth for a few moments, then tossed a can he was heating up on the floor...

... The box turned out to be as heavy as it looked. After dragging it all the way to the shaft and placing it at the edge of the stairs, Rusalka slumped on the floor and caught his breath.

    - Was it really worth it? - he said out loud.

    There was no answer.

I hope nobody finds you ever again - he mumbled to himself and kicked the box down. A loud crash was heard from the darkness below a few seconds later.

After spending some time gathering valuables from the dead, Rusalka grinded the old airlock open and left the ill-fated bunker. He was never heard from again.

Well, as it turns out the Spartan decided to mark an operative, an operative decided to mark the cultist and the cultist decided to kill the spartan. Personally I think the is the best outcome for the game. It almost happened in the first day.

About the Bishop/Rusalka voting issue: According to the rules (By the end of the in-game day each player should vote by coloring the name of their proposed mark red for ease of management. The vote can be changed until the day ends. If several players get the same number of votes, the one who got the last vote earlier is executed) and both Bishop and Borscht have re-casted their votes at the last moment. It can be interpreted both ways, so I just tossed a coin to allow chance to determine the outcome.

Rusalka also dies because he was AFK for the entire day, so in the end, everyone dies. Congratulations, mexican standoff finale and everyone dies ending. True to the Metro series.
Please use your RP accounts to vote for the best character in this game in your opinion. Mark their name with red as you did before. Once everyone willing submits their votes (I'll give it 24 hours) I'll reveal the cast.

Why must I need to make such a difficult decision like this!? -_____-
All of you guys were great. Borscht was great (I laughed a lot of the times because of the way he spoke). Magpie sortta pissed me off, but that’s the good part of it. Agrippa’s first day of roleplay was nice and his teaming up with Magpie was something I did not expect. Rabid Hound (I was sad he died the first day). Vsevolod’s act toward being leader was great (but it sucks how he got killed off because of it). I liked Vodyanoy’s personality (I don’t know why, I just did). Rusalka, where were you? And finally, Matros. It was short lived, but I liked your avatar :p

Anyway, my vote is for Magpie. He managed to convince almost everybody to go with him, and that was pretty cool.

I did not intend to "Team up" with Magpie, but in doing so I put a little to much trust in Rusalka voting for Bishop. When that didn't happen I had to leave it to chance.

I knew Bishop and Borscht were both operatives. But I didn't know if the cultist was Magpie or Rusalka.

This was fun, even if I died in the first day. To be honest, I wanted to be a detective like stalker, but it turned out that everyone thought about me (because of Magpie :p) that I a cold hearted bast*rd at best. :D

Magpie did his job perfectly, my vote is his.

To be fair, you pretty much handed that one to me on a silver platter. :p I just basically said, "Hey, well, this guy seems kinda odd," and everybody just dogpiled on you to save themselves.

I had actually voted for you, Magpie, on the very first day we voted as operatives (though, as you could see, it was Matros who got killed instead). Afterward, since you didn't get killed, I voted for you a second time, as an operative; and as a merc, I voted for Rusalka (obviously) to get you two killed off so that Agrippa would be the only one left to worry about -that didn't go as planned, but we were sooo close. Anyway, I prefer that the game ended the way it did. It made it much more exciting and it was pretty cool to know that everybody still died in the end. I had a lot of fun. :)
