Metro Online?

    I wanted to know if Metro had a futur in beeing online? I could myself see metro as a big world with factions, surviver groups, bandits and such and then you join the game as a normal player on a mission, or you maybe joined a faction you know like Rangers, The red army and so on? I could really see a big futur in this game and it's a so epic history and time the game is in. I would be sad if there wont come a Online game of this, because i really love this game there are something spicial about the game, that other games dont have. :D

    4A Games and Deep Silver have no such plans in this direction, to my knowledge.

    This is a topic that pops up now and then.

    I'd like to see some sort of online version of the Metro Board Game, Now that would be something to look forward to. But it would also take away the true Metro spirit of a single player storyline.

    So alas, tis not but a dream for us ... unless A4/DS want to go kick starter on our arse then look for new devs and stuff ... but that's just me. ;)

    On a side note I would also like to see a crusader kings mod for Metro.

    Yeah I've been thinking about it for a while, Granted it'd be hard to do with crusader kings 2 (p.s if anyone want to play that with me > my steam) maybe it would be easier with Hearts of Iron, But I think CK2 would be a much better suite.

    I'll have to go ask around on the Paradox forums.

    An MMOFPS with heavy RPG elements would definitely be interesting if set in the Metro universe.

    It's amazing, but beware it is easily the most difficult and complex Paradox game.

    There is a Metro 2033 MMORPG in beta testing now. It's in Russian though.

    Multiplayer for MLL is planned to be released in about 6 months from now.

    Only way a game like this would work on PC

    You need servers
    Allow mods

    CS is popular because the community built it into something - Metro online would need a new name but the same look allowing PC full control without console attributes . Love to see something like this turn into CS meets metro . But if they refuse to listen to the PC community for MP and tap into Peer2Peer with 16 dollar DLC the game will fall flat on its face .

    Really? I hadn't heard of either of these before.


    Some questions that come to mind:
    - Will the MMO be made by 4A?
    - Will it be in Russian permanently?
    - Will it be good?
    - Will the multiplayer for LL be PvP, co-op, or survival? Or something else entirely?

    I wished they fixed the bugs first on all platforms. I heard the Ranger HC isn't unlocking on the xbox lol

    Also it was announced that there would be 5 DLC, but we've seen 7 so far

    The whole metro theme would be amazing in an mmo. The story of Artyom is only single player but a metro online would be amazing. Only thing is how can you fit thousands of people in a tunnel?
