    Hello everyone!

Since MS bought the Minecraft franchise, do you think with the might and wealth of Microsoft, Minecraft should continue on its path of updates or do you think MS should focus on building Minecraft 2.0?

There is no need to work on Minecraft 2.0. Minecraft has so much content there isn't much they can add to a sequel aside from better graphics for now. They should just concentrate on perfecting the experience before they move anywhere else. A game like this is still young (this will most likely get me laughed off these boards) and there is still plenty to see.

Yep. Why would they try and succeed an already incredibly popular game? No use in dividing the fan base when you can just reap in the money with updates.

I think they should just improve the game, there's no need for a relaunch since the game is already popular. Update with new features, fix what's wrong and let people enjoy it! :D

I agree with @flickerthestar. There is no need to work on a sequel, Minecraft is big and good enough. Besides, I'm not sure that Microsoft could pull it off, their only goal is profit.

I don't think Minecraft needs to make a second edition or a sequel. I think they should continue with the updates Minecraft has every month or so. It's fine the way it is.
