Midnight Launches?

    I live in the Madison, Wisconsin area, and am finding out to my dismay that there are no stores nearby doing a midnight release of Last Light. (all we really seem to have here big enough to do one is Gamestop and Best Buy)

    I'm curious, is anyone here planning on getting it at Midnight, and if so, (more interested in the latter part), are any retailers where you live doing midnight releases?

    I never thought of that actually. But now that you say it, I think I'll stay up till midnight-release, install it via steam while I'm sleeping, then play it all next day after I wake up and have a cup of coffee. The game releases on Norway's National celebration day, so I'll have the whole day off, you see ;)

    I have no need to get it at midnight because I'll probally be to tired to enjoy it as much than if I got it during the day; but ya, Gamestop is doing a midnight release and I finally have enough money to get LL, but I am not to sure if I sould buy LL or continue to save up in order to get a kick ass graphics card (only in my dreams).

    I'm getting a digital version for PC and steam usually has pre-loading enabled a few days before the launch date, so it will quite literaly be a midnight release for me.

    I live in the middle of bumf@$k Kansas, and my GameStop is not doing a midnight release because only 12 people preordered it at all. So I guess I'll be pickin it up on release day :/
    But on the bright side, IT'S ALMOST HERE!!!!!

    Should have ETA on Steam unlock times soon, but our last PC game had a 01:00-03:00 CET window on the day of release. So US: Tuesday morning after Monday midnight. EU: Friday morning. Or Thursday night. However you want to see it!

    With Steam unlocks there is never any guarantee it will actually unlock at a specific time, though.

    Super Walmarts are your next best bet as they're open 24 hours and sell games at midnight, if you have any near you. I have 3 in my town. =P

    Ended up ordering my copy of MLL from Amazon for the exclusive digital comic, but I might hit up Wal Mart at midnight to start playing then and simply return my Amazon copy to Wal Mart when it arrives in the mail. ^_^
