    Has anyone gotten the new update for minecraft PE? I think they're amazing.

    I used to only play the PE version because it was good for on the go, although I never felt it was better then the PC version for obvious reasons. But now I think I actually enjoy the PE version better overall.

    Have you guys tried the new update? What do you think?

    I don't think Pocket Edition will really be as popular as the version on the PC. As you said, It's only good for playing if your on the go (traveling) or if you have a few minutes of spare time or if you are waiting in a line or something. Why don't they add endless worlds in PE though? It seems to be currently that the worlds in PE are actually tiny compared to the Minecraft worlds on the PC.

    I thought they had that in the new update? I guess I'm mistaken. They must be huge then at the very least because I havnt found the end of any worlds.

    Haven't tried it. I never really got into the PE, just because there was so much more to the PC version. I may have to give it a go though.

    I haven't played the game for a while. Thanks for the heads up. I hope this update will make the game more fun for me to start playing more on the go. It was fun already, but I just got easily bored somehow. I'd start going on creative mode to build things on a tiny world, but you describe how the worlds seem insanely large now. Maybe I would like it better than the PC!

    I will have to update my kindle then. My 9 year old loves to play it when we are waiting at an appointment or in the car while i drive. I wasn't crazy about the PE. It is a bit too limited for my tastes.

    Yeah, I definitely like the mobile version but it lacks in some aspects. It's a nice portable version, but it's missing a lot of items.

    You are not mistaken! They implemented infinite worlds in the last update. :)
    Here is the whole changelog:

    0.9.0 - biggest update EVER!
    - Infinite worlds!
    - Caves!
    - Loads of new blocks and items including Monster Eggs and huge mushroom blocks.
    - Wolves! Tame a loyal companion.
    - Loads of new flowers! So pretty.
    - New mobs, including the spooky endermen and less spooky Mooshrooms.
    - New biomes from the PC version, including mesas, jungles, swamps and extreme hills.


    This update honestly looks amazing! I might have to give it a try, now that it has so many awesome new features!

    Nice, it probably runs well on the higher spec phones (Samsung Galaxy S3, etc) for now, since you need quite a lot of processing power to do things like that.
