    Any of you guys ever tried one of those mods that allow you to go to space? I remember there was one mod released last year that allowed the player to go to the moon. You can build things on it and do stuff like on the Earth. It's called Galaticraft I think.

    That's the only one I tried. There was a suggestion to make it so you can 'float' in space, but that was never implemented. Also, the only way you could go to space was if you wore a pumpkin head. It was a neat idea, but too bad nothing more came of it.

    Yeah, too bad nothing more came out of this mod. I wonder if it's still getting support or it's pretty much dead. I haven't heard much of this mod ever since last year I think.

    There is a server called SpaceQuest that I have been meaning to try out. It uses a collection of plug-ins, and an optional resource pack, to create the experience of flying through space, visiting various planets and asteroids to colonize and mine. You can also chose to be a space pirate and live by raiding honest citizens hard work. Each planet has certain blocks and resources available forcing people to trade with other planets on the server to get what they need. It looks and sounds pretty cool!

    PS Changing the bow into a blaster and arrows into laser beams was genius even if it is funny to see your 'laser' sticking out of a tree lol

    Space mods sound really cool. I wish they were more popular like FTB. I saw a video of Galacticraft but I haven't played it , it look awesome. I really hope to see more space mods in the future.

    I don't ever remember seeing this mod, but it sounds pretty freaking awesome. I may have to look into it a bit! Is there a server for it perhaps? I would love to get some new mods going, as dare I say it, I am getting a bit sick of the same old same old.

    Galacticraft is the obvious one, but I think that's just because it's built into a few modpacks now. I'm sure there are others, but I can imagine they aren't too different, although they do sound really cool. I might have to look into these.

    Ah yes, Galacticraft. Galacticraft allows you to explore the solar system in your own spaceship. I do like the concept of space exploration but the reason I don't like galacticraft that much is becuase you can't really manually fly to the moon, you have to choose the moon from a list once you get into space.

    I tried Galacticraft, got bored of it quite quickly because I think the textures looked ugly and it wasn't a good "spacey" experience :D

    Minecraft and space don't mix well together in my opinion :p
