Can someone suggest some MMORPGs that are good for team play? I am looking for a game that I can play with by brother but not necessarily at the same time. He has a low end PC by the way so nothing with too many graphics.

Lineage 2 is one of the MMORPGs you must depend on other players in order to enjoy it.
From leveling/grinding, you will need buffs/heals from other players in order to level up fast.
It is also an open pvp game, where you need friends for protection. To join the best aspect of the game - castle siege and clan vs clan, you need to form clans with lots of active players to do group battles against enemy clans anywhere outside town.

If you just want to play with your brother, might as well try some co-op singleplay RPG campaigns.

You can set a lot of them to lower graphics, so that might help him. It isn't a first-person type, but Puzzle Pirates is kind of fun for a group. Elder Scrolls Online lets you team up, but the graphics might be too much. KingdomofLoathing is a mostly-text one that is more or less single player, but you can chat with others during play.

Squads in PlanetSide 2 are pretty much as close as you are gonna get to a 100% teamwork based MMO.

Final Fantasy XI is entirely dependant on teamplay. It's a bit grindy at first but they have made some changes in the last year to make that alot less of a pain.

Pick this up, game's awesome! I'm sure you and your brother will have a blast playing. It takes a little time to get used to but after that, both of you will be addicted!

I'm quite curious myself. But the most popular MMORPG that I know of is Minecraft. Some people might hate the game, but I think that it's awesome! You can gather with your friends and play on a server or a private server. Then, you do whatever you want! There's so much that you can do, such as playing adventure maps, building, or PVPing!

Probably the Final Fantasy MMOs. Starting off is hard due to the grinding and lack of skills, but once you get higher levels then playing with a party becomes really important to succeed in the game.

There's a game called Unturned which was recently released on the Steam store for free. It's a game that's very similar to DayZ in which there are zombies and you have to survive by keeping your hunger, thirst, energy, etc up. The graphics are pretty similar to Minecraft style if not worse. It's also only about 145 MB so it's a small download for a fun time.

League of Legends and Planetside 2 are great options for team play as far as I'm concerned.

I agree, Planetside is a pretty good team based game. If you get a good team together, you can go pretty far in that game.

RuneScape (F2P, can be played completely freely by buying membership in game currency), Neverwinter (Pay to win in PVP), Guild Wars 2 (Pay once to play), and World of Warcraft (Pay to Play). I think to me these are the best four selections. If you're looking for FPS type of MMORPGs, Planetside/AVA is good. I would also consider hero games like DC Universe which is a good one, as well as Marvel Heroes.

Minecraft and Starcraft are great for teams. The best, in my opinion, is Destiny and Black ops zombies

I will have to go for League of Legends. Although you will sometimes find that the community is quite unwelcoming, you can have a lot of fun nevertheless. Just try it out for yourself, but have my friendly warning: It's addicting and you will undoubtedly want to spend money. DO.NOT.DO.THAT. xD

There's Cubic Castles! I'm not so sure it's an rpg game; but it's basically a chibi and free version of MineCraft (it's not Minecraft, it's just like Minecraft) that you can play for free through Steam. You can help eachother build stuff if you give him building access. Be warned though, he might steal your stuff blind if he's so inclined to do so.

Team play... I'd say any MOBA games (multiplayer online battle arena). Also, the best MMORPG I know to ever exist that's a race vs. race. vs. race — RF online. You should try playing it. :D

League of Legends for sure. You need to have a pretty good teammates to win though. But it's fun to play with your friends.
