Hey guys, what do you think of Moogles in the Final Fantasy series? I think that they're the cutest things ever in the FF universe. They're furry and cuddly and have large tummies. Moogles are my favorite creatures in the FF series.
I liked to see a Moogle being one of the protagonists in XIII-2, that was pretty awesome! But I don't really like XIII moogles that much, the best moogle design is IX. But in XIII we learn that it's the bobbles that allow them to fly, the wings are for show. Wow!
To be honest I couldn't sand those things when I was younger that is one thing I didn't like about FF it made it seemed away to make the games seem more geared towards women and every time I saw one on screen I wanted to punch one in the face.
Totally agree. IX had the design of the Moogles perfected. They were totally cute. So little and fluffy... They're definitely the cutest things in the FF universe. So cute, they could melt a stone cold heart. Hmm, I kinda like to find a stuffed Moogle toy to give to my girl.
I felt like I was missing out on my moogle attention when it came to some Final Fantasties. The last one I played was FF13 and I don't recall seeing a single moogle in there before. I was first introduced to the little things in Final Fantasy X when I saw Lulu's doll. I thought it was credibley cute in Kingdom Hearts whenever I would go to the shop and interact with him! Love those little things, but I never knew what type of animal they were suppose to be based off of. Can anyone tell me what they're suppose to be related to?
I like them, I missed the lot of them in Final Fantasy X-2 game. Their always so crazy or helpful and I especially like it when they own a shop. I also enjoy the little cute cut scenes that their sometimes in.
I'm not sure what type of animal Moogles are. But they do look like cats. I think that they were modeled based on cats with large bellies with a bit of rabbit here and there. Hehe.
I think there actually are quite a few stuffed moogle toys if you know where to look properly. The ninth game also did manage to capture them quite perfectly. They were very fluidly animated for such an early game. It made me a little sad we couldn't control one for the game, even if it would've only been for a quick fight or something. That would've been a wonderful little addition to an already great game.
I always thought they were the cutest things and loved how helpful they were! Plus the mini games were always a blast. I think they're probably the cutest characters in FF except for maybe the chocobos.
I don't know, sometimes chocobos (despite how adorable they are) wind up being annoying due to how hard it is to find or capture one. In the end, most of the time, I just wash my hands of trying to get one and hoof it; breeding them is another very time consuming story.
The Moogles are too adorable for me to not stare at. I've been begging my boyfriend to draw a Moogle for a shirt on RedBubble forever. I have missed them in the later Final Fantasy games and I hope they make some sort of reappearance in the series. I can't live without my Moogles!
Haha, they sure are cute; heck I love wearing my Moogle hat especially in conventions, haha! They have several iterations though, with their body size varying a lot. Chronicles and Ivalice Moogles are quite different, if you ask me, haha! With the main series, I noticed that it used to be that their bodies are bigger than their heads. Now in the recent ones, it seems that their heads are growing bigger now. I don't know about you, but I like the recent ones now, hahaha!
The Moogle hat sounds amazing! I think the varying body size is kinda cute. I mean, not every single one are gonna be the same size, much like humans won't all be the same sizes and shapes. It really gives me them more of a race feel to them and we can also see them evolving in the series, which is kinda cool in my opinion.
