More armor/weapon options?

    Do you think that Minecraft could use more armor or weapons? I think armor we may be fine, since most of it you can obtain fairly quickly, however I would like a more variety of weapons. I know mods exist for this but there's no reason to add more in vanilla. Personally I'd like a slingshot of some sort.

    Agreed, there are almost no options for weapons in vanilla minecraft..

    I don't know about more armor options, other than more customization options. For weapons, I could go for a slingshot, but I'm not a fan of guns or cannons and things like that. The game should remain a mostly melee based on as far as weapons are concerned.

    Yeah I wish there was different types of armor. Ones that make you more defensive but slow down your running speed and vice versa also they should make more complex weapons. Throwing knives would be a really cool and unique feature to implement.

    I hope Mojang will add more weapons and armour in a future update but I don't really mind at the moment because we got loads of mods which do it anyway

    Almost all games benefit from having more and more weapon options. I wish there are a lot of weapons and armors in Minecraft. Maybe MS will do something about it, I just hope they don't include it as a "Exclusive Weapons and Armor Pack for the Xbox One"

    Of course. It will benefit a lot. The weapon options on vanilla are really limited and the armors aren't really good either. If Minecraft spews a lot more weapons to craft and all that other good stuff then I think I might play it more.

    Yeah, would be cooler if there were lighter versions of armour that did have some defensive protection but allowed you to move faster.

    I think armor doesn't really need to be changed but a different weapon would definitely be nice because in vanilla there isn't really anything other than a sword.

    I think it would be pretty neat if they added more options. At the moment people keep using the same weapon and it makes it kinda stale.

    If we can create swords I say we could create stuff like baseball bats. I mean just think of it, a baseball bat can reflect stuff that is coming yourway, like an arrow or something along that line.

    That would be nice to have more options on our weapons or armors. But I want more weapons than armors.
