I've been dying to find out more about ESO's guild system but it seems that they are still hush-hush about it. I would gather that they'll be using the same mechanics as that of Guild Wars 2 -- maximum 5 guilds per player, guild creation starting at launch, etc. -- but apart from the proposed Guild store economy, I can't seem to find information about how ESO guilds would work.

The fact is, MMO gameplay is enhanced by having guild-based social features, and it's very important that your guild mechanics should work without significant issues. I believe that ESO's success would be partially hinged on how they plan to work out their guild system.

Post away if you've any information, but speculations and theories are also very welcome!
