    An idea is to create a rideable turtle. They can swim on the surface and dive, but swimming under goes slower. They should have stats like horses do. They can also go on land, but they won't go as fast as if on water.

    Flying mounts would be neat too. They should have an energy bar which only allows people to fly up in the air for a period of time. Flying mounts have differing energy levels as well. Not every mount is the same. Once the flying mount runs out of energy, the mount will glide downward and you can control its direction, but until it replenishes its energy full again, you won't be able to fly.

    How about you? What sort of mounts do you think would be great additions?

    I like just horse. This isn't WoW, we don't need 200+ mounts just the basic one will do. Flying may be interesting but I like trying to keep this realistic (for the most part.) so it would be annoying trying to just build and survive to see a unicorn or something.

    Having some way to fly in survival mode is a really good idea, whether it were through a mount or some sort of potion/enchantment. I've played on a Pixelmon server (where you catch Pokemon if you hadn't guessed) and some of the larger flying Pokemon can be ridden, giving some idea what a flying mount might be like - and its awesome!

    I want to ride dinosaurs lol. Imagine riding a T-Rex or a Triceratops running over the villagers creating chaos. Not very realistic but it's Minecraft so whatever.

    Flying mouts? Why not just have a horse power-up that lets it have wings? I would l have fun if I could ride a mole to go underground and such. If that is not going to happen then at least give me a digging machine. That should be fun, right?

    I would like to be able to ride the Ender Dragon. I think that would be really cool. I don't know how that could be implemented, for obvious reasons.

    Hmm I wouldn't mind a flying mount. Maybe a dragon, or maybe a rideable turtle with wings! It is a really cool idea to have a flying mount, or maybe a mount that is like a digging machine, or one that helps you build. There are so many options!

    I must agree with you all. Mounts make the game more immerse and they really give you the feeling of an open world, creative and survival game.

    I think more mounts are always a good thing, no matter how silly of a mount it is :)

    I love that idea, I think we should be able to tame spiders and wolves to use them as riding mounts first. Then we can have the turtle and flying mount.

    Even though I play creative more than survival, mounts can improve the aspect of survival.

    Mounts would be an excellent idea! It would make the game more fun! It would be cool if you could ride an Iron Golem, and control it! It would be like Titanfall.

    I think new mounts could be a really interesting idea. Especially a flying mount in survival. It would give you a way to get away from skeletons and stuff. But I don't know what I'd want it to be. Maybe an Ender Dragon after you beat the game?

    I'd love flying mounts. This way you could create multiple cities and just fly to and from each of them. You could make a whole world with an economy and a mayor controlling each of the cities. Ok, maybe I'm getting a bit off-topic but it sounds like a really cool idea.

    So a horse that sprouts wings like a Pegasus, yea, I could get into that. I understand wanting to keep the game as normal as possible but really, when you game can you really say that you are normal? I think they could add more in without going overboard.

    I think flying and swimming mounts are the only additions we need. What I thought would be cool would be giant turtles that you can actually build on. Like tiny little islands, but instead of staying still, they swim around oceans! wouldn't that be cool?

    I would agree with you also tsquared flying and swimming mounts are essential in Minecraft. But to balance out the game I think if Mojang ever made mounts like these it would have to be more of a late game mount. It wouldn't be fair if someone obtained the ability to fly early on in the stages of minecraft. Now that would kill all the fun.

    Being able to ride the Ender Dragon would definitely be awesome! Honestly, I'd be cool with any new mounts. Mounts in general are just always fun!
